KRISTEN Stewart is reportedly in talks to play Lois Lane in the new Superman movie.
The actress — who shot to fame in the Twilight movie franchise — is among a number of stars wanted to play the reporter in the forthcoming Zack Snyder movie Superman: Man of Steel after first choice Anne Hathaway passed to take the character of Catwoman in Batman project The Dark Knight Rises.
Dianna Agron, Rachel McAdams and Jessica Biel have also read for the part.
Earlier this week it was announced British actor Henry Cavill had been named as the new Man of Steel, being only the third actor to play him following the late Christopher Reeve and more recently, Brandon Routh in the much criticized 2006 movie Superman Returns.
Kristen recently complained that she hates not being able to go to the mall.
“There’s no way to eloquently put this. I just can’t go to the mall. It bothers me that I can’t be outside very often,” she said.
“And also to not ever be ’some girl’ again. Just being some chick at some place, that’s gone.”
Kristen then talked about trusting her friends: ”You build a perimeter of people that are really important to you.”
