All Pro Wrestling returns with another exciting Gym Wars TV Taping at a special start time of 7:30pm on a Friday Night, and the specter of the Carnival of Shadows looms over APW, as Corvus will challenge Dylan Drake for the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship.
Jeckles the Jester and BLACKWELL of the Carnival of Shadows will take on the team of Vennis DeMarco and Mr. Wrestling #4. Corvus sent word to the office of All Pro Wrestling that OMEGA will be unable to compete at Gym Wars. Corvus gave no word as to why, and at the end of his message he said that Mr. Wrestling #4 and Vennis DeMarco will be finished this Friday.
Also, "The British Messiah" Timothy Thatcher will once again face "Big County" Jody Kristofferson, but this time, it will be in a special "British Rules Match".
Late last year, The Suburban Commandos came into All Pro Wrestling, challenging The Reno SCUM to a Best-of-Five Series to find out just who the best team in Northern California really is. For various reasons, it's been impossible to put a match together between these two teams to start the series, but now, it looks like we may just get it underway. Who is the best team?

Sheik Khan Abadi and Alexis Darevko came into All Pro Wrestling together looking to dominate, but after two set back losses to The Reno SCUM and The Suburban Commandos, Darevko turned on his partner. At the last Gym Wars TV taping, Sheik had “The Russian Wolf” on the verge of defeat when Darevko gave Sheik an illegal low blow and was disqualified. Darevko once again tried to give Sheik a severe beat down like he did at Kristmas Kaos, but Sheik was able to get the upper hand. Before Sheik could finally do some damage, “The Russian Wolf” retreated to the back locker room. On Friday, February 4th at Gym Wars, these two will collide once again and Sheik has promised to give Darevko a taste of his own medicine.

The former APW Universal Heavyweight Champion, “The Boss” Derek Sanders will be back on the road to regaining the top of All Pro Wrestling in match against an exciting newcomer, Daniel Torch. As always “The Boss” will be accompanied to ringside by his protege, Will Rood. Torch, though defeated by “Wrestling Personified” Rik Luxury at our last Gym Wars event, did win the hearts of the fans with his daredevil style of wrestling. His upcoming match against “The Boss” will be the toughest match to date for the young rookie. “The Boss” has one goal in this match: quick domination of Daniel Torch. From there, Sanders will be looking to immediately get back to getting another shot at the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship.

At our last APW Gym Wars TV Taping, Rik Luxury and his manager Markus Mac challenged anyone in the back to try and take Luxury’s bogus Internet championship. Luxury specifically called out the real, official APW World Wide Internet Champion “Out Of Control” Matt Carlos, but Carlos was too busy preparing for his rematch with “Double D” Dave Dutra later that night. APW’s recent Boot Camp graduate Mikey Jay, who was head of security for the event, stepped in the ring and took up Luxury’s offer.
Markus Mac got in Jay’s face to accepting the challenge because Mac felt Jay was below Luxury’s level. Mikey Jay had enough of the big mouth of Markus Mac and Mikey put all five knuckles right across the face of the CEO of Pink Mink Inc. As Markus went flying from Mikey Jay’s right cross, Luxury knocked out Mikey by hitting him in the back of the head with his bogus championship.
Now, the challenge match has taken on another level as Mikey Jay is not only making his official All Pro Wrestling debut and all the nerves that come with that, he is now looking for revenge against Rik Luxury and Markus Mac. Can the youngster keep a cool head going into this match up?
Markus Mac has said Rik Luxury is a fighting “champion” and that Luxury’s alleged “real” World Wide Internet Championship is on the line. All Pro Wrestling does not recognize Luxury’s championship and will not advertise this as a championship match.

All Pro Wrestling Commissioner JJ Perez has pulled the World Wide Internet Champion, “Out of Contol” Matt Carlos out of the six man tag match and the popular APW star will be taking on Billy Blade, who will be making his return to All Pro Wrestling.
Billy Blade is a veteran of the mat wars all over the United States and also internationally in Japan and Australia. Blade is a former APW Tag-Team Champion, but this will be A NON-TITLE Match since it has been over two years since Billy Blade has competed in an APW ring. This is a big match for Billy Blade, as if he does defeat Matt Carlos, he will propel himself into the number contender for the World Wide Internet Championship.

After Timothy Thatcher used the ropes for extra added leverage to score the pin on Jody Kristofferson, "Big Country" challenged Thatcher to a rematch. Jody was upset that "The British Messiah" would have to resort to illegal tactics to defeat him. "The British Messiah" wanted nothing more to do with Jody, and was getting back on track in his quest to capture the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship.
After some heated words where exchanged between these two APW stars, Thatcher finally agreed to a rematch, but only with his rules, British Wrestling "World Of Sport" Rules. Thatcher thought Jody would not accept his challenge, but "Big Country" quickly accepted.
For those who are unfamiliar with a British Rules Wrestling match here are the rules.
BRITISH WRESTLING RULES:
1) Match will feature 6 five minute rounds.
2) Closed fist is banned
3) Referee can issue a YELLOW CARD for rule infraction. Wrestler will be disqualified if he receives 3
4) To win you must score TWO FALLS (pinfall or submission) or score one knock out.
5) Round ends by time limit or fall
6) Can not attack a downed competitor once contact is broken
7) Competitors have a 10 count to reach their feet once contact is broken.
8) Both wrestlers are allowed to have one second accompany them to ringside.
A British Rules match took place at Kristmas Kaos in 2009 when "The British Messiah" was defending his World Wide Internet Championship against Mr. Wrestling #4. The match was a classic contest that will long be remembered by the APW fans who witnessed it live and for those on watched it on their television screens.
"Big Country" Jody Kristofferson is a huge underdog going into this match up, but he has a ace up his sleeve with getting advice from Mr. Wrestling #4. Thatcher believes he will easily defeat the APW sensation and then finally secure his shot at the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship.

CORVUS has been collecting souls and has formed the Carnival Of Shadows and recently he collected his most prized soul, Jeckles The Jester. Now, CORVUS is looking to collect the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship and bring The Carnival Of Shadows to what he feels is their rightful place, on top of All Pro Wrestling.
APW Universal Heavyweight Champion, Dylan Drake successfully defended his championship against "The Boss" Derek Sanders in a Submission's match, forcing "The Boss" tap out to the "Bay To Breaker" Sharpshooter. Drake is looking forward to defend his title against CORVUS and derail any plans of domination by The Carnival Of Shadows.
