WORLD-1 NEWS FOR FEBRUARY 1, 2011

Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 is just 12 days away from our first event of 2011 and we couldn't be more excited. For ten years now, W-1 Sports has run events under the PWF, B4W, 3KWrestling, and Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 banners but since August of 2009 we have stayed the course as WORLD-1. On February 13, we celebrate!

Three title matches are on tap for WrestleBowl '11 including ROH star and North American champion Adam Cole making his V3 defense against Midnight Sensations' Sam Shields. These two already went to a 20 minute time limit draw at a special pre-show event on December 5th and the champion requested that Shields get another chance.

New WORLD-1 tag team champion Kid America and Bobby Shields will make their first defense of the titles as they compete in a three-way elimination match against ROH's Shane Hagadorn and his partner Pro Wrestling Respect's Marcus Dillinger and the new team of Roxie Cotton and Sumie Sakai, known as Harajuku Musume. Can the manager of the ROH World tag team champions lead him and Dillinger to tag team gold or could we see the first womens tag team champions in WORLD-1. Kid America would no comment, but Bobby Shields said that they will do their best to defend the titles.

Then WORLD-1 debuts its new championship, the U-30 Openweight title. U-30 means that "Under 30 years of age" and originally was the idea of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. All wrestlers must be under 30 to compete for the title but there is no weight class or gender restrictions. The first champion will be decided in a 4-way, first-fall-wins-it-all contest. Respect's Colby Godwin vs. W-1's Colby Corino vs. Symbol's Reiko DMF vs. CZW's Ty Hagen (formerly Tyler Veritas). All four men want to be the first champion!

WORLD-1 heavyweight champion "The Complex" Chris Rockwell will be celebrating also. February 13 will mark his first year as WORLD-1 champion. On January 30, he destroyed then-champion The Beast in less then two minutes and dominated W-1 the entire year. His manager, Richard Guille, has reserved time so that Team Symbol and his fans can celebrate. Guille also set up a special non-title contest against, as he describes "The Ultimate Ham 'n' Egger", La Mascara de Carbon.

Young Bulls, Ruthless Ryan Sawyer and ROH's Bobby Dempsey collide for the first time. Its all about respect and pride in this one! You don't want to miss it.

Tickets are only $15 for ringside, $10 for adult general admission, and $5 for kids. Purchase your tickets at the door or on www.WORLD1Online.com.

Pro-Wrestling SUN debuts on Sunday, afternoon March 20. SUN champion Allison Danger will take on SHIMMER champion Madison Eagles. Tickets are already on sale. You can buy both the March 20 SUN and W-1 shows for $22 ringside, $15 adult general admission, and $7 for kids. Regular prices are in effect for single show.

Team Symbol's Tommy Thunda had to cancel his booking for February 13 due to his involvement with the National Guard. WORLD-1 is very proud of Mr. Thunda, as all the fans are. Richard Guille and Reiko DMF were over heard making fun of Thunda for his military commitments. What a shame. Is there a future to Symbol?
