The Oakland Raiders continue their early season form when they defeated the Detroit Lions 21-3 to stay a perfect 4-0 in exhibition games. After a relatively first three games, star wide receiver Randy Moss got the Raiders off to a quick start when he connected with QB Aaron Brooks on a 63-yard touchdown pass on the third play of the game. "It was nice to finally hook up for six," Brooks said. "He ran a hell of a route. The safety bit on the crossing route. Randy did his job diving into the end zone. It was a great effort on his part." Both players also hooked up again on a 25-yard score in the second quarter. Moss finished with three catches for 102 yards. Running back LaMont Jordan put the Raiders up 21-0 in the second quarter on a 14-yard run, while the Raiders defense shut out the Lions (1-2) for the entire first half. Quarterback Aaron Brooks, who is looking to revive his career after a testy time in New Orleans, went 9 of 15 for 187 yards and tossed the two TD passes to Moss. Oakland can go 5-0 this preseason with a win at Seattle on Aug. 31.
