Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has sparked rumours that he plans to leave MTV reality series Jersey Shore in the near future.
The reality star admitted that his true ambition is to begin a career in acting, and that he believes there is only so long you can star in show like Jersey Shore.
"Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be in a movie," Sorrentino explained to E! Online. "There's only so long you can rule the reality world."
When asked whether he would consider leaving Jersey Shore as early as next year, Sorrentino admitted that he was currently weighing up his options.
"Maybe another year or so of reality, and then I'm gonna graduate to movies," Sorrentino continued. "I love entertaining so movies is definitely the next step."
Jersey Shore began its third season on MTV last month and has consistently broken ratings records for the network since its return.
