an interview with future WWE hall of famer Shawn Michaels, where he talks the end of his wrestling career, the outdoors, and coming to God. "I had my first encounter with God inside of a deer blind. Just sitting there waking up with the animals and looking at the stars. I was not in a great place in my life at that time. I started thinking there has to be more to life than this. Hunting was the start of that for me. It changed my life all for the better. My connection with the Lord grew immensely from that point on," said HBK.

Asked if he'll wrestle again, Michael said, "I'm not going to wrestle again. The only way a 185-pound guy made it in that business is to do something nobody else ever did. The best thing I can do is to stay retired, because nobody ever stays retired. I'll still be part of the company. You never really get out of the WWE unless you're wearing concrete shoes at the bottom of the Hudson River, but no more active wrestling."

To bad.. a last match could have been good, but since he had his end match against Undertaker and that match was a really epic..

If he gets offered a match against The Rock at WM 30. He should go for it! :D

Nothing like killing stuff to bring God into your life. :shifty:

And as much as I would like to see HBK back in the ring, he made the decision to retire, he made his bed and now I think he should lay in it.

With that being said... there is no way I could complain if he were to return for one match down the road or something.

i think its good. have enough respect for fans of his to honor his retirement.

Unlike Ric Flair, who is taking a shit all over his legacy every week he is on TNA.

In all honesty I'm happy that Shawn has the sense enough to know and say that he is going to stayed retired...he's had a long and incredible run in the WWE/WWF, and he deserves his retirement! I can't wait to see him be inducted into the HOF on the 2nd of April, he totally deserves the accolades from it!

lol He will probably be the first retired wrestler to actually stay retired and not wrestle again.

Agreed LD, a welcome change as well, as no-one ever stays retired either lol
