Steve "Sting" Borden, who is backstage at today's TNA "iMPACT! taping in Fayetteville, North Carolina, will be revealed as a "surprise opponent" for TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy.

The angle will continue to next month's Victory Road pay-per-view on March 13.

It was reported earlier today that Borden had re-signed with the organization. His prior contract expired in December.

Borden last appeared for TNA Wrestling in October.

If TNA has ever played EWR, they would know that RVD vs Jeff would have gotten a 100% match quality in my opinion at a ppv. I think Anderson vs Hardy would even be better. Biggest disappointment of the year right here.
