First Windows Phone at CDMA carrier Sprint can be pre-ordered at some Sprint stores today
Computerworld - The first Windows Phone 7 device from Sprint, the HTC Arrive, will be available March 20 for $199.99, after a rebate, with a two-year service agreement, the carrier said Thursday.
HTC announced the slider smartphone in October under the name HTC 7 Pro. The device features a tilting physical QWERTY keyboard that tilts up when fully opened.
Pre-ordering start today at some Sprint stores for those that purchase a $50 Sprint gift card.

AT&T and T-Mobile USA , both GSM carriers, have been selling Windows Phone 7 devices, including the HTC Surround, since last November. Sprint and Verizon Wireless (both CDMA/EV-DO carriers) last year said that both would eventually support the Microsoft OS.
HTC Arrive runs the same WP7 interface already running on the devices now shipping.
The interface features a start screen with hubs and live tiles that are designed to streamline access to social networks, games, pictures, music, applications and Microsoft office productivity software. The live tiles can show pending appointments and messages, news and weather updates, and status changes of friends -- all refreshed continuously.
HTC Arrive runs a Qualcomm 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, and offers a 3.6-inch touchscreen, full HTML Web browsing capabilities with Bing Search and Maps, access to corporate Exchange e-mail, a 5 megapixel camera and video camcorder, Wi-Fi and 16 GB of internal storage.
Integration to Xbox Live and Zune is possible with Microsoft Office Mobile.
Sprint will require the same $10 monthly premium data add-on charge required on its smartphones in addition to the Everything Data plan, which starts at $69.99 per month. That brings the monthly service minimum to just under $80.
