Swinny
02-27-2011, 03:34 AM
I don't think he'll get cut, I don't think he would have been cut even if he actually did lose. I think they'll give him another shot, at least.

So... am I the only one thinking Ross Pearson will beat Spencer Fisher? Although I would like to see him make a comeback, I don't know if I see it happening.

The Mac

Yeah, it could have gone either way, really, but... I don't think there's anyway either of them won 30-27, even though one of the judges scored it that. This is going to be an interesting night, if there's a lot of decisions, lol.

Sotiropoulos looking intense as hell. I think this is his fight, but I also think Siver is quite underrated and could give him some problems. But if George keeps it on the ground, I think he can pretty easily control it and pick up the win.

I still say Penn will take this home, as he controls the match, and just cut Fitch open. Might be a broken nose

This is a really hard fight to call so far. But Fitch is controlling this round so far, so he may take it.

^^ Fitch is better standing. So Penn should get him down for a submission

WTF??

I thought Fitch won that fight with that 3rd round.

But seriously, A Majority Draw?

Well... this is the type of fight, like Edgar-Maynard, that while a draw is always disappointing... neither guy really deserved to lose and a draw is fitting.

Yeah, I think so too, but round 2 really could have went either way. BJ was winning at the beginning, but then Fitch started dominating at the end, so it was pretty split and even.

it should have been a 29-28 decision for fitch, hopefully they will have a rematch

but all in all the night of fights were pretty good, a good mix of knockouts, submissions and decisions, it gets boring when all the fights on a card end the same way

Im really surprised that it was a draw. I thought that Fitch won the 2nd and 3rd round. Penn came out strong in the start of round 2 but I thought Fitch finished the round with enough to win it

The second round is a really hard one to call because I think Penn won the first half, but then Fitch finished the round on top.
