Ring of Honor's official Facebook and Twitter pages have confirmed that current ROH TV Champion Eddie Edwards just def. Roderick Strong at ROH's event in New York City, NY at the Manhattan Center to become the new ROH Champion.

^^ I agree. I don't see Edwards as a World Champion at all. TV Champion maybe, but not World Champion.

Hero or Generico would be much better choises

Generico also had TNA tryouts (like Strong) recently.

Dropping the title to someone a lot see as a weak new champion suggests it may have been hastily done.

Maybe he's off?

yeah possible. Davey Richards would have worked too because the fans like him a lot. personally I hate the Wolves

Richards is better than Edwards. Think he got it way to soon but in a way he has come far.
