Bellator 82 card set with Good-Koreshkov welterweight finals, plus return of Kala Hose
by Matt Erickson on Nov 19, 2012 at 4:30 pm ET

The full fight card is set for next week's Bellator 82 event.

Leading the charge will be the Season 7 welterweight tournament final between Lyman Good (14-2 MMA, 7-2 BFC) and Andrey Koreshkov (12-0 MMA, 4-0 BFC).

Also on the main card, Alexander Sarnavskiy (20-1 MMA, 0-1 BFC) will waste no time getting back to work after a loss to Rich Clementi this past month in the lightweight tournament's opening round. He'll take on veteran Tony Hervey (15-12 MMA, 0-0 BFC).

Rounding out the MTV2 broadcast is a middleweight fight between Kala Hose (7-5 MMA, 0-0 BFC) and former WEC champ Doug Marshall (14-6 MMA, 0-0 BFC), plus a 160-pound catchweight bout between David Rickels (10-1 MMA, 4-1 BFC) and Jason Fischer (4-0 MMA, 2-0 BFC).

Bellator 82 takes place Nov. 30 at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. The MTV2-televised main card follows prelims on Spike.com. (With the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., Bellator takes this week off in its normal every-Friday schedule.)

Good and Koreshkov co-headlined Bellator 78 in Fairborn, Ohio, and emerged from their semifinal bouts against Michail Tsarev and Marius Zaromskis, respectively, to reach the finals. The winner of their fight gets $100,000 in total tournament prize money, plus a guaranteed title shot against champion Ben Askren or recent tourney winner Karl Amoussou, who are expected to meet in early 2013.

Sarnavskiy dropped a close split decision to Clementi at Bellator 77 to get bounced from the lightweight tournament. He'll return just six weeks since that setback to fight Hervey, whose resume includes fights against Bellator featherweight champ Pat Curran, Takanori Gomi and current TUF 16 hopeful Mike Ricci – all losses. But he enters the bout on a two-fight win streak.

Hose will fight for the first time in more than two years. The Hawaiian has dropped three straight fights – a submission loss to Jason "Mayhem" Miller in 2009 and stoppage losses under the X-1 banner in 2010. His most recent victory came in August 2008 for Hawaii's Icon Sport promotion. Marshall won the WEC light heavyweight title at WEC 23, then defended it twice before losing the belt to Brian Stann at WEC 33. He went on a five-fight streak after that, but since has dropped three of his past four.

Rickels in May lost for the first time in his career after a 10-0 start, including four wins for Bellator. After a win over Jordan Smith to open the Season 6 welterweight tournament, Rickels lost a split decision to eventual winner Amoussou. Fischer won his Bellator debut in April with a rear-naked choke finish of Taylor Solomon at Bellator 64 and followed that up just this past month at Bellator 76 with an arm-triangle choke win over Kyle Prepolec.

Bellator 82's prelims include featherweights Mario Navarro (3-2 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. Anthony Bain (1-0 MMA, 0-0 BFC); a bantamweight bout between newcomers Chad Coon (0-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC) and Shawn Bunch (0-0 MMA, 0-0 BFC); a middleweight fight featuring WEC veteran Brendan Seguin (23-18 MMA, 0-0 BFC) and Giva Santana (17-2 MMA, 1-1 BFC); light heavyweights Terry Davinney (9-5 MMA, 0-0 BFC) and Matt Van Buren (5-1 MMA, 2-1 BFC); lightweights Jeremy Czarnecki (5-4 MMA, 0-0 BFC) and Justin Houghton (4-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC); and lightweight John Schulz (2-0 MMA, 0-0 BFC) against an opponent to be named.
