Motor racing legend Peter Brock will be farewelled in style after his family accepted the Victorian government's offer of a state funeral.
Details have yet to be finalised.
Peter Brock's former wife, Bev, who split with the racing legend in May last year after 28 years together, says the decision to accept the state funeral was made by their three children.
Brock was killed yesterday when his car smashed into a tree during the Targa West rally in Western Australia.
