The UFC is officially returning to London.

Officials today confirmed that its Feb. 16 event, UFC on FUEL TV 7, will take place at historic Wembley Arena.

MMAjunkie.com passed along news of the plans on Tuesday.

UFC on FUEL TV 7's main card airs live on FUEL TV while preliminary-card fights are expected to stream on Facebook. Currently, no fights are official for the card, which likely will be heavy on U.K. talent.

The event will be the U.K.'s first in 2013. The promotion's most recent trip to England came with UFC on FUEL TV 5, which took place in September at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham.

London, meanwhile, most recently hosted a show in October 2010 with UFC 120, which featured a middleweight headliner between U.K. star Michael Bisping and Yoshihiro Akiyama. The event, which aired live on Spike TV, reportedly set a company record for attendance in Europe with 17,133 fans, who generated a live gate of approximately $2.56 million.

With a max seating capacity of 12,500, the 78-year-old Wembley Arena is unlikely to break that record. But the venue is no stranger to combat sports, including both boxing and MMA, as well as other entertainment and music events.
