A year and a half after breaking up just prior to their scheduled wedding, Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris are not only back together, they’re reportedly planning to marry again. The news hasn’t been announced publically, but sources close to the couple are saying the nuptials definitely will move forward this time.
According to TMZ, the wedding will take place on New Year’s Eve at the Playboy Mansion. Perhaps because it’s such short notice or perhaps because of what happened the last time these two decided to get married, the festivities will reportedly be limited to family members and just very close friends.
Scheduling a wedding, calling it off and rescheduling a wedding might not be the way Disney would draw it up, but those close to the couple reportedly think they’re stable and actually capable of giving it a real go this time around. Harris was really young prior to the last scheduled nuptials, and she’d never really lived on her own. She did that for more than a year after the relationship went south last time, and apparently, she feels she’s in a much better place now.
Even though the ceremony won’t have nearly the grandiose build-up or the number of people, it should still attract plenty of media attention. Here’s to hoping Hef and Harris actually get there this time, say their I-dos and find lasting happiness in each other’s arms.
