A really wild hour of OVW aired on The WB Network in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday Night. This was the last hour of OVW for the January series, which is already available on DVD from www.ovwrestling.com. With all the changes in personnel, this is the show to watch, as Paul Heyman really got his all his characters in place and set up a main event for this week's TV Taping on Wednesday Night that is sure to have a lot come out of it.

In the biggest news, Heyman's big storyline of the feud between C.M. Punk and Brent Albright continued. This week's show opened up with The Spirit Squad (Ken Doane, Mike Mondo, Johnny Jeter, Nick Mitchell, and Nick Nemeth) walking down the hallway and entering a locker room. They insultingly offer an unseen person the job of being the 6th person on the Squad, as Jeter said, "you can be the back-up boy." It's revealed that the person they're offering this to is C.M. Punk. Punk slapped Mondo and turned them down. Good moment between Punk and Ken Doane on this promo.

I didn't notice this when the interview aired live at the Davis Arena, but there's a great inside joke on this interview. As Punk is punking out the Spirit Squad, there's a signed picture on his wall of Maria Kanellis, who has been linked romantically behind the scenes with Punk. Pictures of the events of this show, including one of Punk with Maria's picture right over his shoulder, are on OVW's website.

Later, Maria tries to interview Brent Albright, who goes all bug eyed on her about the fact he keeps making Punk tap out and yet Punk always Punks Albright out. Brent goes in his locker room, but behind the closed door we hear the screaming of the crazy Highlanders. These characters have gotten over in 2 weeks with their insane promos. Highlanders notice Punk and Albright, enemies at heart, keep making other teams tap out in less than one minute. The challenge is made. Albright accepts on behalf of himself and Punk, and then starts rambling on about making the Highlanders tap out so there's enough time on tv for Punk and Albright to fight each other.

So then in Punk's locker room, the refs are keeping Punk and Albright separated when Albright convinces Punk to do the tag team match, so that they will have the time after they make the Highlanders tap out, then they can wrestle each other and settle their issue. After Punk accepts, he uses Albright's new catch phrase, "Get out or Tap out" and Albright jumps Punk for a big pull apart. Great promo.

Then, in the main event, Punk and Albright take out The Highlanders right away, but then The Spirit Squad jump into the ring. After their "We Hate Punk" cheer earlier in the show, Punk knew what to expect. Punk jumped one of the Spirit Squad and applied a shoot hold. The Squad attacked Punk, and were all kicking him while he was down. Albright returned to the ring with a chair and saved his enemy.

To close the show, Punk and Albright do a promo where Albright says to Punk, "we're never gonna settle our issues until we take those 5 out of the picture." So Albright makes the challenge for the 5 on 2 match for next week at the Davis Arena. Punk accepts, extends his hand, and slights Albright again! This was the best CM Punk moment in OVW yet. Punk walks away from Albight and laughs, "even when we're on the same team, you still get Punked!"

This sets up this week's main event of Punk and Albright vs the 5 members of the Spirit Squad. That happens this Wednesday night at the Davis Arena, 4400 Sheperdsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky. Directions available on their website. You have to think something will spring out of this that will set up the February series for OVW.

In the other big story of the night, Aaron "The Idol" Stevens had a "Pajama Party" with Shelly and Beth, and decided to do the hyped-up Pajama Party during Paul Birchall's match against Senor Roberto Dawber. Lots of buildup to this Pajama Party. At the very beginning of the show, we have an "invitation" from Shelly and Beth inviting us to join them for The Idol's Pajama Party.

Then, after the Miz's match, we see Shelly and Beth, apparently nude (or at least topless) giggling talking about what their pajamas will look like in public.

Then we see Da Man himself, Paul Heyman's obviously-favorite new character, and mine too, Osama Rodrigues Alejandro entering the locker room of new babyface character Paul Birchall. Osama offers a cigar box full of cash to Birchall to leave, but the cash isn't from The Idol, it's from, as Osama said, "Bet and Chely." Funny stuff. Osama introduces the man who will "assassinate" Birchall "like a Central American Dictator," Senor Roberto El Grande Loco Machugina Dawber, who walks up to Birchall, sprays some binaca in his own mouth, and then hits everyone's favorite prelude to a slap, the line "Hi, I'm Robbie Dawber." Then, in a subtle twist that was funny to anyone who watches OVW, it's not Birchall who slaps Dawber, it's Osama, who curses at Dawber in Spanish and make Dawber promise to be a killer, an assassin, and finish off Birchall in their match tonight.

Well, the match was Birchall at his best, and this was the best I've ever seen him. He was ruthless against Dawber, but right as Birchall was going to leap off the top rope and drive his knee into Dawber, The Idol's music hit and the Pajama Party began! This was the most opportune moment for The Idol to throw his Pajama Party, and it enraged Birchall. The match continued while the Pajama Party was taking place at Dean Hill and Al Snow's announcing desk, and this was just chaos at it's most entertaining. Idol's Pajama Party was ruined when Burchall crushed Dawber. This is a really cool angle.

In yet another really cool angle, The Boogeyman made an appearance. It started with what we thought would be a match that would see KC James against Danny Inferno Gimundo. But before the match started, they were joined by Domino, Deuce Shade, and Cherry. Domino did his Dice Clay routine regarding Inferno, but then James wanted to say something and said, "your mother looks like the Boogeyman!" All the heels acted like KC just screwed the goose, and then Boogeyman came out and squashed KC. This was great.

In other news, The Miz made his OVW tv debut against Rene Dupree. During the match, OVW Tag Team Champs Seth Skyfire and Chet The Jet came to ringside and observed Miz. Then The Miz hit The Mizard of Oz finisher, but his partner Chris Cage attacked Skyfire in the leg with a chair from behind. Miz had a decision to make. Go for the cover, or allow his partner to hit Chet with the chair too. Miz dove out of the ring to confront his new partner, and was promptly counted out. Dupree, still laying out face down in the ring, gets his limp hand raised. Great angle to build intrigue in the team of Miz and Cage.

Mikey Batts came out and demanded a match against Beast's partner Titus. You see, Batts is about 5'5'', Titus is about 6'9''. Titus won after Beast helped out. Mikey Batts is the best new cruiserweight, and I've only seen him against two giants. Batts is exciting and really comes across like a crazed little man who won't back down.

All in all, Heyman's most packed, and probably best OVW show to date. Obviously, a lot more will happen this Wednesday at the Davis Arena in Louisville.

Torrents, they're easy to download all you need is a Torrent Provider (e.g. BitComet, Azerues, UTorrent etc) then you goto a site like Pro Wrestling Torrents and then download the Torrent link, then open it up with your Torrent Provider and it'll download until it's complete. You can do the same for many other things too, like T.V. shows, and most of the PPV links on here the same as Movies have been downloaded from Torrent sites too.
