Michael Lohan claims his former wife Dina could be behind allegations he set up their daughter Lindsay's recent nightclub fight.
A series of tweets, which claimed to be from fortune teller Tiffany Mitchell, accused Michael of setting her up to start a row with the 'Liz & Dick' actress in order to force her into rehab but the showbiz patriarch has hit back and alleged his ex is behind the allegations.
The fake account tweeted: "The jig is UP. I am no longer with Gloria Allred and will no longer be pursuing any legal action against Lindsay Lohan
"Truth is, I was approached and hired by Michael Lohan to cause a scene at the nightclub in question to eventually force Lindsay into a treatment facility that Michael Lohan had previously set up. Sorry for the chaos &confusion I've caused. (sic)"
In response, Michael told RadarOnline: " This will be investigated. If it turns out Dina is behind this, this will go legal.
“I sent her a cease and desist letter the other day. I will have to expand that to ‘do not harass or have any contact personally or through a third party.’”
Michael also tweeted: "The TiffMitchell1 acount is an imposter per Gloria Allred @dinalohan won't stop, leave "US" alone!
"You started this @dinalohan. If you want a war, u got it! Destroyed lives, including UR own but you won't destroy ours! God wins satan loses
"It is not Tiffany Mitchell!!!! Her lawyer said it was NOT! It was @dinalohan trying to start more drama for me #obsessed (sic)."
Lindsay, 26, has a troubled relationship with Michael, who has spoken publicly about his daughter's problems and repeated belief she should be in rehab.
