John Travolta's drama on the high seas is at an end.

Days after a California judge rejected the 58-year-old actor's bid to have a potentially embarrassing lawsuit brought against him by a cruise-ship masseur decided in arbitration—and forcing the matter to be adjudicated in open court—both sides have agreed to drop the case.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, no reason was given for the abrupt dismissal, including whether there was a settlement, and neither party was talking.

But the legal brouhaha got started after Royal Caribbean employee Fabian Zanzi sued Travolta in June, 2012, accusing the Grease star of assault and battery and infliction of emotional distress.

Among his graphic allegations, Zanzi, who was acting as Travolta's personal-suite attendant during the voyage, had delivered room service to the thesp, who allegedly complained of pain in his neck. According to the suit, Travolta then proceeded to disrobe while "forcibly embracing" Zanzi while naked, allegedly engaging in "nonconsensual, inappropriate, extreme and outrageous" contact.

The complaint, which sought unspecified damages, also accused the A-lister of offering Zanzi $12,000 to keep mum about the incident. However, the masseur subsequently reported the incident to three higher-ups.

Travolta's attorney, Martin Singer, at the time called the claims "ludicrous" and said Zanzi and his lawyers were "looking for their 15 minutes of fame."
