"Mad Dog" will apparently howl at home again as Reza Madadi (12-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) reportedly meets Michael Johnson (12-7 MMA, 4-3 UFC) at April's UFC on FUEL TV 9 event in Sweden.

Swedish website MMAnytt today reported the lightweight booking, though UFC officials have yet to confirm the matchup.

UFC on FUEL TV 9 takes place April 6 at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm. Headlining the event is a light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and former Strikeforce champion Gegard Mousasi. The event's main card airs on FUEL TV following prelims on Facebook.

Johnson looks to rebound from a unanimous-decision loss to Myles Jury at December's UFC 155 event. Prior to the loss, "The Ultimate Fighter 12" finalist had been 3-0 in 2012 after racking up victories over Danny Castillo, Tony Ferguson and Shane Roller.

Madadi, who was born in Iran but now lives in Sweden, was a part of the UFC's first visit to Stockholm and received one of the loudest ovations of the night during his second-round submission win over Yoislandy Izquierdo. His second UFC appearance, meanwhile, ended in frustration when his seven-fight win streak was snapped in a controversial split-decision loss to Cristiano Marcello.

With the reported addition, the UFC on FUEL TV 9 card now includes:
Alexander Gustafsson vs. Gegard Mousasi
Akira Corassani vs. Robert Peralta
Papy Abedi vs. Besam Yousef
Mike Easton vs. Brad Pickett
Marcus Brimage vs. Conor McGregor
Adlan Amagov vs. Chris Spang*
