Chubby Checker has sued HP over an app call 'The Chubby Checker.'
"The Chubby Checker" app allowed women to estimate the length of their man's penis based on his shoe size but there's a twist - and it goes like this:

The actual Chubby Checker, whose real name is Ernest Evans, is suing Hewlett-Packard for half a billion dollars because, apparently, measuring genitalia is not what Checker does “if daddy is sleepin' and mama ain't around.”

Checker, 71, fears the app will associate his stage name with obscene and sexual images, reported webOS Nation.

The lawsuit claims that the rock and roll pioneer "received no compensation for the unauthorized use of the Chubby Checker name and trademark."
Magic Apps developed the program that was only downloaded 84 times before its removal in September 2012. Additionally, HP discontinued the hardware — tablets and smartphones — for the operating system that ran the app in August 2011, Michael Thacker, director of corporate communications, told the Daily News.
Nevertheless, Checker's lawyers argue that the customers were "misled into believing that the plaintiffs have endorsed the defendant's app."
The lawsuit demands that HP stop selling anything resembling the singer or his trademark.
An old listing for the software asked, "Any of you ladies out there just start seeing someone new and wondering what the size of there [SIC]member is?"
"We cannot sit idly," said Checker's attorney Willie Gary, "and watch as technology giants or anyone else exploits the name or likeness of an innocent person with the goal of making millions of dollars. The defendants have marketed Chubby Checkers' name on their product to gain a profit and this just isn't right."
