“Shock Artist” Ira Isaacs has been sentenced to 4 years in federal prison for producing work deemed to be too obscene.

While you may not know who Ira Isaacs is, those familiar with the Internet may have heard about or seen the famous ’2 Girls, 1 Cup’ video that led to tons of reaction videos on YouTube of viewers being grossed out. It turns out that the show’s filmmaker will now have to serve 4 years in a federal prison after grossing out the jury. He was slapped with 5 counts of producing and distributing obscenity, years after courts tried to jail him for other reasons such as sexually exploiting women in his videos (which turned out to be false).

According to the FBI:

Evidence presented at trial established that beginning in or about 1999 and continuing until at least 2011, Isaacs, doing business under the name LA. Media, operated numerous websites, through which he advertised and sold obscene videos that he acquired from other people. The obscene videos included a video approximately two hours in length of a female engaging in sex acts involving human bodily waste and a video one hour and 37 minutes in length of a female engaged in sex acts with animals. The evidence presented at trial also established that in approximately 2004, Isaacs began operating under the name Stolen Car Films and made obscene videos in which he instructed women to engage in sexual activity involving human bodily waste.

Isaacs argued that he is an artist, but the jury didn’t care to hear it and looked for any excuse to throw him in jail.
