The show must go on for the cast and crew of Glee.

Following news that Cory Monteith checked into rehab for substance addiction, Deadline reports that the remaining two episodes still to be filmed this season will be done without the actor.

The absence of Monteith's character, McKinley High graduate Finn, will be explained to viewers.

"I am so proud of Cory Monteith and love and support him 100 [percent]," Glee creator Ryan Murphy Tweeted Monday.

Meanwhile, 20th Century Fox TV, which produces the musical comedy, also released a statement of support for the actor: "Cory is a beloved member of the Glee family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment. Everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return."

Monteith's rep released a statement to PEOPLE on Sunday, explaining that the star, 30, "has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction."

His girlfriend and costar, Lea Michele, has also openly expressed her support.
