In what seems to have been a slight slip-up, a recent submission on the official Xbox Blog has revealed a release date for DICE's upcoming Battlefield 4 FPS, announced earlier this week at a special event in San Francisco. Mentioning the Xbox 360 version of the title, the blog post initially read that players could expect DICE's FPS on October 29th of this year, however it was quickly edited out to just say "coming to the Xbox 360."
So far no solid release date has been given yet with only a Spring (Northern Fall) 2013 having been revealed so far. During the screening earlier this week of the 17-minute singleplayer gameplay, only current-gen consoles and PC were revealed for platforms, however the title is also expected for next-gen consoles including Sony's PlayStation 4.
