The Charlotte Observer published a very detailed report on Reid Fliehr's final days after returning from Japan, where he was planning to return to in April.
Notable in the report is that Reid, who is believed to have died of an overdose last Friday, feared returning to the addiction traps that were set in Charlotte, according to family members interviewed for the story. "His worst fear was coming home," said Reid's mother, Beth Fliehr.
The report also notes that the Charlotte hotel room where Reid was found dead on Friday morning, March 29 was the second bedroom of a suite rented by his father, Ric Flair. Ric had made temporary living arrangements while in-between moves, then both Ric and Reid, 25, were scheduled to travel to Maryland that Friday morning for a Big Time Wrestling show.
