It’s been rumored that CM Punk will be taking time off after WrestleMania. Now that the pay-per-view is over, WWE will get ready for life without Punk, even though it may be just for a month or so.

Punk put up a great fight against The Undertaker and the streak. He used Undertaker’s mannerisms and even the Old School move. In the end, Punk lost and became a victim to the streak.

When Punk eventually returns, he will look to get back to the main event and win the WWE Championship again.

Here are a few Superstars I can see Punk feuding with once he returns and is fully healed.

Ryback and Separation from the Shield

During Ryback’s time in the main event picture, he was screwed out of the WWE Championship on a few occasions because of The Shield.

It was during this time that CM Punk was being associated with the dangerous trio. Throughout the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013, Punk denied his involvement with The Shield. However, a video came out that showed Paul Heyman paid The Shield to interfere in Punk’s matches.

Once Punk comes back, he could address this issue. He could challenge Ryback to a one-on-one match to prove he doesn’t need The Shield or any other interference to win.

This feud could last a couple of months, with Punk getting the initial win and then Ryback going over the following month.

John Cena and the WWE Championship

Now that John Cena is WWE Champion again, who’s left for him to feud with?

CM Punk.

Yes, we've seen this match a lot last year, but it was Punk who was the champion. Now, the tables are turned and Punk would be chasing Cena.

I don’t expect this to happen right when Punk comes back, but maybe for SummerSlam or Survivor Series, these two could pair up again. They have excellent chemistry, as seen by their Money in the Bank 2011 and Feb. 25 edition of Raw matches.

There is no bigger heel on the WWE roster that is a threat to Cena and the WWE title than Punk.

This is a feud that should last all of fall and possibly into 2014. Maybe these two can finally face off at WrestleMania and Punk could get his main event match.

In the meantime, expect Cena to feud with Mark Henry until Punk returns.

Brock Lesnar and a Possible Face Turn

CM Punk has been a heel since Raw 1000. He’s feuded with big names like Triple H, John Cena, The Rock and Undertaker over the past two years.

There are no babyfaces left for him to face. You could say Sheamus and Orton, but they will most likely be feuding with Big Show soon.

As a result, Punk must turn face. Yes, this will make him the No. 2 face behind Cena, but it will open the door to fresh matches.

Enter Brock Lesnar.

Both Punk and Lesnar are under the services of Paul Heyman. Punk doesn’t need Heyman; Lesnar does.

Heyman can cost Punk a match sometime in the summer and ultimately stay as Lesnar's agent. Punk would then go off, saying Heyman was only holding him back and that's why he lost the WWE Championship.

This could lead to a Punk vs. Lesnar feud for the fall months, possibly ending at the 2014 Royal Rumble.
