Miranda Kerr will no longer be a Victoria's Secret angel.
This is a dark day for America.
Citing multiple sources, Us Weekly reported that 30-year-old Kerr is being let go as a Victoria's Secret angel after her $1 million, three-year contract "was not renewed."
Sources told the website Kerr is being let go because she "has a difficult reputation" and is no longer a big seller.
This is an outrage. Thank goodness for the Internet, where pictures last forever.
The Australian model is married to actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she has a 2-year-old boy, Flynn. The source said Kerr no longer sells as well as other angels, like Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio.
"They can still use her for catalog, where she will get a day rate, but she doesn't have to be an angel to do that," the first source said.
Executives from Victoria's Secret wouldn't deny that the contract has not been renewed, but chief marketing officer Ed Razek told Us that he has already invited Kerr to walk in the 2013 show.
"We have no plans to stop working with her," he said
