The UFC took over Herald Square in Midtown Manhattan today, giving fans the opportunity to meet and greet the likes of Kenny Florian, Hall of Famer Matt Hughes, female bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey, top contenders Chris Weidman and Anthony Pettis, former champ Urijah Faber and the UFC president himself, Dana White. It was a marathon eight-hour event, and the size of the crowd it attracted varied, at times swelling to well over a few hundred. Is New York hungry for mixed martial arts? It would definitely seem so.
