Comedian Marlon Wayans’ “A Haunted House” sequel will hit theaters March 28, 2014.
The Open Road Films movie, tentatively titled “A Haunted House 2,” is co-written by Wayans. The film will be financed and produced by IM Global’s genre label Octane, with production set to take plan this summer.
It’s the second title to land on the March 28 date, when Paramount opens Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah,” starring Russell Crowe.
“A Haunted House” opened in January and has taken in over $40 million at the U.S. box office.
