Cage Warriors 54 saw middleweight champion Jesse Taylor finish John Phillips in the opening round with a guillotine choke.
Taylor has now won six since August. It marked his first title defense.

Phillips went 2-1 for the promotion last year and entered off a pair of submission wins.
