Jake Ellenberger is ready to continue his climb through the welterweight division and his next challenge is someone familiar with the champion in Rory MacDonald. Despite this, "The Juggernaut" doesn't seem too concerned.
"I don't think this is the biggest fight of my career," said Ellenberger on MMA Junkie Radio. "It will be on the biggest stage, but as far as an opponent, I don't believe so."

Ellenberger is 8-2 for the UFC with Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann being those losses. He took a pair of wins last year, recently stopping Nate Marquardt in the opening round of UFC 158 for Knockout of the Night.

MacDonald pulled out of UFC 158 with a back injury weeks before the show. He last defeated BJ Penn in December via decision.

The welterweights collide at UFC on FOX 8 on July 27. It hails from the KeyArena in Seattle, WA.

I want to see MacDonald get his head kick in for disrespecting BJ Penn. He just comes off as an arrogant ****.
