Sam Sicilia heard he got axed from the UFC, but it's not true according to his manager Nima Safapour.
"He is not cut," said Safapour to MMA Weekly. "He's actually still on the roster. I anticipate for him to be back in the cage probably in the fall sometime."
Some reports had Sicilia released last week after he failed twice in a row to land a win for the UFC with losses to Rony Mariano Bezerra and Maximo Blanco.
Sicilia's overall record is 11-3, but he hasn't mounted much success inside the Octagon. He's also been out since April with a broken hand.
There is no word on Sicilia's return opponent.
