Former UFC fighter Paul Kelly has been convicted of trafficking heroin in his native country England.
The Liverpool Echo reports jurors came to a unanimous verdict after a four day trial. The paper said Kelly, who was considered the head of the drug traffickers busted, faces a long sentence behind bars.
Kelly and his friend Christopher St John McGirr were arrested in May 2012 following several raids.
For the UFC, Kelly was 5-4 with the last loss coming from Donald Cerrone at UFC 126.
