Revered U.S. broadcaster Barbara Walters' daughter was arrested over the weekend (18-19May13) for driving under the influence. Jacqueline Danforth was taken into custody and booked in Florida on Sunday (19May13) after traffic cops pulled her over near Naples. She has been released on a $1,000 (£625) bond. Danforth, 44, is The View host's adopted daughter with her second husband, theatre producer Lee Guber. Her arrest comes just days after Walters announced her retirement from broadcasting. She will step down as the host of U.S. magazine show The View next year (14).
