Cordiner has earned a two-film deal with the studio

Richard Cordiner will adapt "Spacesuit" for Warner Bros., his first script in a two-film blind deal, according to two individuals with knowledge of the deal.

Cordiner is a U.K. transplant that moved to the United States a couple of years ago to work for Venables Bell & Partners, a San Francisco-based advertising agency. He previously worked at firms Young & Rubicam and Leo Burnett in London.

Talent agency Verve and management company Kaplan/Perrone discovered Cordiner off the Black List through the company's new program that lets screenwriters pay to upload scripts for review.

Cordiner posted a script titled "The Shark Is Not Working" that detailed the making of Steven Spielberg's "Jaws."

Cordiner’s reps then sold Warner Bros. on his promise, earning him the blind deal. Warner Bros. then assigned him "Spacesuit," an adaptation of Nichols De Michoud's book about a team of bra designers who built the space suits for early moonwalkers Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Marc Shmuger and Tom McNulty will produce.
