Wanderlei Silva has set the date for his fight with Chael Sonnen. Now, we will wait to see what Mr. Sonnen has to say.
In an interview with SporTV Globo, Silva discussed facing Sonnen either in Brazil or at the year-end-show in December.
"I'll tell you something I have not talked to anyone," Silva said. "I will not fight in Boston, that's right. In Brazil would be a dream. I think he'd even have to wear armor and earplug to walk there.
"A fight against Sonnen in Brazil would be very interesting. Fight with Sonnen is good for any event."
Currently, the UFC has plans to return to Brazil later this year with a FOX Sports 1 card in September. "The Axe Murderer" also said he is "ready for December, in the year-end event."
Sonnen previously issued a 24-hour deadline to Silva, and has since stated that he has moved on from fighting him.
