FX is expanding its relationship with Judy Greer.

The actress, who is among the voice cast in Archer, has been tapped to co-star in the cable network's Andrew Gurland comedy pilot.

The untitled entry hails from Gurland (Mail Order Wife) and revolves around the lengths to which two best friends are willing to go in order to salvage their marriage. Greer will play Lina Bowman, the wife to Nat Faxon's Russ Bowman. The couple gets along great in every room -- save the bedroom.

Living in a new city with no friends, and overwhelmed by her three young daughters, at the end of the day Lina would rather curl up with vampire fan fiction than her always-horny husband. In order to save their otherwise great marriage and family, she gives her husband permission to take care of his needs elsewhere.

Gurland penned the script and will direct and executive produce alongside Paul Young and Peter Principato. Salamo Levin, who developed the entry with Gurland, will produce the FX Productions half-hour. Production on the pilot will begin in the summer in Los Angeles.

The project reunites Greer with Faxon, who won an Oscar for writing The Descendants, in which she co-starred.
Greer's other film credits include Jeff Who Lives at Home, the soon-to-be-released Carrie remake and the now-filming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. On the small screen, her credits include Archer, Two and a Half Men, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory and Netflix's revived Arrested Development. Her debut book, I Don't Know What You Know Me From: Confessions of a Co-Star, debuts in 2014.

Greer is repped by CAA, Principato-Young and Felker Toczek.
