Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan is determined to keep her fractured wrist strictly under wraps.
The Mean Girls star, 20, who broke it in two places after slipping at the Milk Studios in New York, covered her cast with a white shirt as she unloaded her car outside LA's Chateau Marmont.
Despite the ordeal of fracturing her wrist, Lindsay looked fresh-faced in a baseball cap, T shirt and shorts as she arrived at the hip hotel, just round the corner from Tinseltown's Sunset strip.
"She looked great," said one onlooker. "But as she unloaded her car she winced with pain every time she touched her wrist by accident - it must still be aching a lot."
Just 48 hours after the accident in the Big Apple, where she had been attending a New York Fashion Week event, she was rushed to hospital again.
This time, it was LA's Century City hospital, because she was suffering from "incredible pain and distress".
Her fiance, Harry Morton, accompanied her and she was released several hours later.
Lindsay is said to have accused Milk Studios of not taking proper measures to prevent slips.
Meanwhile Lindsay's publicist Leslie Sloane has said that "there's a pending investigation".
The party-loving star has been to AnE a total of five times so far this year.
She was last hospitalised in LA in July after suffering from heatstroke and exhaustion on the set of her new movie, Georgia Rule.
She started the year off in hospital after a "severe asthma attack" on January 2 left her gasping for breath and in need of medical attention. Later the same month she needed 10 stitches in her shin after falling on a broken cup at rocker Bryan Adams' home in London.
