– In the Ultimate X Match at Slammiversary for the X Division Championship, Suicide was once again portrayed by former ROH star TJ Perkins.
– James Storm appeared to experience abdominal discomfort backstage after capturing the TNA World Tag Team Championship alongside Gunner at Slammiversary. It was his return match after suffering a slight abdominal tear, an abductor strain and groin pull while officiating an iMPACT! Wrestling match on May 9.
As noted late last night here on the website, Storm tweeted the following after his match at TNA’s Slammiversary pay-per-view:
75% healthy and In a lot of pain, but I did my job and did it well enough to become a 12x world tag team champ. #BeerMe
