Former Strikeforce champion Gegard Mousasi is making it known he wants to return to action in December; and he even has an opponent picked out.
Mousasi took to Twitter recently and made a plea to face Vitor Belfort to close out 2013. "The Dreamcatcher" is currently rehabbing from a knee injury suffered earlier this year.
"I (hope) I can fight in December against Belfort," Mousasi wrote. "I think my fans would love that fight."
After defeating Ilir Latifi in Sweden in his UFC debut this past April, Mousasi (34-3-2) asked his fans if they would be interested in seeing him return to 185 pounds.
Belfort (23-10) is a former UFC champion and is coming off back-to-back victories over Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold.
