YVES JABOUIN VS. DUSTIN PAGUE

Round 1 - Adam Cheadle is the third man in the cage, and we're underway. Jabouin kicks high early to feel things out. They're circling, and Pague lands a good right hand. Jabouin, though, answers with a cracking body kick that Pague catches, but Jabouin sends the fight to the ground. Pague goes after a triangle and he nearly gets what he wants. But he has to settle back into guard. Pague keeping an active guard so far, trying to find an arm. Now a triangle with an arm. But Jabouin squirms out and lands a right hand. Pague still going after the triangle. And now he again grabs an arm, and it's close. Jabouin survives it again, though, and gets into half-guard. Pague now going after a heel hook, and Jabouin again might be in trouble. Pague's corner is yelling to him to use the hold to sweep to take top position. But he stays with it and rolls Jabouin over. The two scramble looking for position, and Pague winds up on top and moves to full mount. He goes after an arm triangle, but Jabouin rolls out and begins tagging Pague with punches. It's a very exciting first round, and very close.

Round 2 - Jabouin again kicks early, and then the two start throwing big punches and kicks at each other. Pague ties Jabouin up, and he uses it for a nice trip takedown. He's in half guard, and he'll try to pop out to mount. He gets it, and there's more than four minutes left. Pague's going to land some elbows. Punches now, too. Jabouin looks like he has no energy. Pague takes Jabouin's back and gets a tight body triangle. Now the rear-naked choke comes, and Jabouin is in a world of trouble. Pague lets the choke go for now, but Jabouin rolls over, and it'll be more ground and pound. Halfway through, Pague takes a bit of a break and he'll get a warning from the ref to keep working. Jabouin regains half guard, and a quick burst from Jabouin has him on top now. Crazy stuff. Pague now in full guard, and he'll again look for an armbar or a triangle. Pague again close on an armbar, but Jaboin drills him with a right elbow. Then another. Then the biggest one yet. Jabouin came on nicely late, but it might not have been enough.

Round 3 - Jabouin gets a takedown just seconds into the final round. He's on top, and Pague again will go after the right arm. Not much offense the first minute up top from Jabouin, and Cheadle tells them to work or they'll get stood up. Couple nice elbows finally from Jabouin. Pague may be thinking omoplata, but Jabouin pops out. Midway through, they're dead even in ground strikes. But Cheadle stands them back up. Jabouin immediately goes after a spinning back kick, misses and falls to the floor. But Pague lands a knee as Jabouin tries to get back up – and it's close to illegal. The action goes on, though, and Pague gets to full mount and starts landing elbows. With a minute left, Jabouin rolls out and right into a triangle choke. He gets Jabouin's left arm, but Jabouin pulls it out and starts to land strikes up top. Pague will finish the round with some elbows from the bottom. Another close one.

But with 40 seconds left, despite Clarke landing on the cage, Balel puts them back in the middle. High kick from Clarke is close. He's looking for a rear-naked choke, and he's got a lot of time. Body triangle for Maguire as Clarke tries to push off the cage and reverse things. He does it and Clarke is on top and landing. Maguire wants an arm, but Clarke goes back down into side control, then lands some bombs up top.
