Natalya's father, WWE legend Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, joined VOC Nation Sports Radio to talk about his role in Total Divas, his desire for a WWE Legends agreement, and his take on the controversial racial remarks by Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Riley Cooper. You can hear the entire interview at vocnation.com. Here are some highlights:
Philadelphia Eagle Riley Cooper using the N word: "I cannot believe that (Chip Kelly) made such a big deal out of if. He should have nipped it in the bud and just forgot about it. This is a young guy drinking liquor in the afternoon (and said something he didn't really mean). I think Chip handled that very poorly. He's a first year coach; he should have downplayed it and forgot about it."

Whether the locker room will turn against Cooper: "I can't believe anyone in the locker room would even take that seriously unless they didn't like him in the first place.

How much different NFL training camps are today versus his time in the 1970s with the Dallas Cowboys: "In my rookie season in 1978 I was with Tom Landry. We were in camp, double sessions for 6 weeks straight. No Sundays off. Everything was live contact. Towards the end, I could run but I couldn't walk.

Aaron Hernandez: "We shouldn't forget about guys like OJ Simpson, who everyone said was guilty, guilty, guilty, but a 12 man jury found him innocent. I can't believe (his actions) slipped through the cracks. I don't know how anyone can play such a difficult position in the NFL and then have time to (kill people) on the side."

His role in E Television's Total Divas Show: "We did 8 episodes. My daughter will be getting married on there. (E Television) is so happy with the way that the stories are going. It's really good reality. The WWE hires girls with top personalties."

The current crop of WWE Divas: "These divas not only have looks and personality, but they can wrestle too. You have to be able to wrestle. They're all very good athletic wrestlers, and they're all well spoken. I couldn't be more proud of my daughter and her success."

His desire to work with WWE again: "I really, really, really want to sign a WWE Legends contract. (I hope that being back on mainstream TV) will help the WWE take notice."
