Flipping your tractor into a manure pond is a shitty way to die

A man is dead after his farm tractor flipped over into a manure pond Wednesday night near the rural south Ottawa village of Kars.
Ottawa paramedics say they were called to the scene along Second Line Rd. just before 10 p.m. When rescuers arrived, they found a front loader tractor had overturned into a pond. The man had been using the tractor in the area when it somehow ended up overturned in the pond.
“Significant and extensive extrication” was required to free the man according to paramedics. The 39-year-old victim was in cardiac arrest, so advanced resuscitation efforts were used in an effort to revive him, and continued all the way to hospital.
Police say the man was later pronounced dead.
Ottawa Police are investigating the incident and the Ministry of Labour has also been called in.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
