It is time for the final match from Glory By Honor to be shown on this week’s television. We will see eight men battle in an elimination match with a two hour time limit. The four champions will be facing their top challengers and if any of the ‘All Stars’ can pin Adam Cole, they will earn a future Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Title Match.
(Note from Richard: While the television show will be giving you an edited version of the match because it went more than an hour and the show is an hour, I am providing the full report if you order the Video On Demand for Glory By Honor or the DVD. So, here is the full coverage of the 71 Minute and 36 Second, Champions versus All-Stars Match from Glory By Honor)
We are in Chicago Ridge, Illinois and your announcers are Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino.
Match Number One: All Stars versus Champions Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Matt Taven (with Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) versus Caprice Coleman, Cedric Alexander, Michael Elgin, and Jay Lethal in an Elimination Match (with the man who pins Adam Cole earning a World Title Match [if it happens])
Before the match starts, Taven has some words for Cole about starting the match while Fish and O’Reilly attempt to be the peacekeepers for their team.
Elgin and Cole start things off and they circle each other but Cole goes to the floor and Elgin follows after him but the extra referee stops Elgin and sends him back into the ring. Elgin has some not so kind words for Cole and Cole returns to the ring and he tags Taven into the match.
Lethal tags in for the All-Stars. They lock up and Lethal backs Taven into the turnbuckles and he chops Taven and Taven goes to the floor. Martini yells at the referee on the floor while he checks on Taven.
Taven returns to the ring and he tags in Fish. Fish with a waist lock but Lethal backs Fish into the corner and Jay with a chop. Alexander tags in and he connects with an elbow to he arm and he follows with a wrist lock and arm bar. Fish with a drop toe hold into a rear chin lock and side head lock. Alexander with a knee to the midsection followed by a boot to the head for a near fall.
Alexander with a front face lock and he tags in Coleman. Caprice with punches to Fish followed by a leg lariat. Fish with a reverse atomic drop and he tags in Kyle. Kyle with a side head lock. Kyle with a shoulder tackle but Coleman with arm drags. Kyle blocks a hip toss but Caprice with a drop kick. Elgin tags in and he kicks Kyle in the chest.
Elgin with an elbow to the back of the neck. Elgin with a hard Irish whip and he gets a near fall. Kyle with a jawbreaker and he tags in Taven because Cole does not want to get involved yet. Taven with a delayed vertical suplex and he kips up but Elgin is already on his feet and he shows Taven how to give a delayed vertical suplex the right way but Fish kicks Elgin in the chest. Elgin keeps Taven up. O’Reilly with a kick as well and Elgin keeps Taven up.
Everyone gets involved and Taven is taken to the floor and the Champions discuss strategy.
Taven returns to the ring and he kicks Elgin and applies a side head lock and take down. Elgin with a shoulder tackle and Taven stays on his feet. Taven with a shoulder tackle and Elgin does not go down. Taven tells Elgin to go off the ropes and Elgin with a shoulder tackle to Taven. Lethal tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles for a double sledge to the back. Lethal with an Irish whip and back body drop.
Lethal gets a near fall on Taven. Kyle tags in and they keep Lethal stuck in the corner. Everyone chokes Lethal in the corner and then Kyle sends Lethal into the turnbuckles. Kyle with punches in the corner followed by an Irish whip but Lethal with a boot and moonsault for a near fall.
Fish makes the save for his tag team partner. Coleman tags in and he punches Kyle and slams him. Coleman with a leaping leg drop for a near fall. Kyle with a jaw breaker but Coleman tries for a sunset flip. Kyle stays on his feet long enough to tag in Fish. Coleman gets Kyle over and Fish with a kick to the back. Fish and O’Reilly try to double team Coleman but Coleman with a double drop kick.
Alexander tags in and he holds Fish for a leg lariat Hart Attack from Coleman. Alexander gets a near fall. Alexander with a punch and he tags in Lethal who hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Coleman tags in and hits a double sledge to the arm from the turnbuckles. Alexander tags in and he does the same to the arm. Fish kicks Elgin on the apron but Elgin tags in and he hits a double sledge from the top to the arm and Fish is in a lot of pain.
Elgin with a wrist lock and shoulders to the arm. Elgin with uppercuts to the left arm and then he puts his whole body weight on the arm. Elgin with an arm bar but Fish rolls through. Lethal tags in and he kicks Fish. Lethal with a knee and chop to Fish.
Fish with a forearm but Lethal with chops. Lethal with a hip toss followed by a cartwheel and drop kick for a near fall. Fish with a punch to Lethal but Lethal punches back. Lethal with a drop kick for a near fall. Alexander tags in and he punches Fish. Alexander with a European uppercut and he gets a near fall.
Alexander chops Fish and Fish goes to the floor. Alexander follows Fish around the ring and Fish returns to the ring and Kyle makes the blind tag while Alexander returns to the ring. Alexander hits Kyle but Fish with a kick to the leg and Alexander goes down. Kyle with a kick to the chest and Lethal comes into the ring but the referee sends him back to the apron.
Kyle runs up top Cedric and then he stops and slaps him in the face. Alexander with a forearm to Kyle followed by one to Fish, Taven, and Cole on the apron. Alexander with forearms to Kyle. Kyle with a kick but Alexander tries for a suplex. Kyle with a knee to the head and he returns to the mat. Kyle with a kick and slap followed by a series of kicks and a back heel sweep for a near fall.
Taven tags in and he kicks Alexander in the ribs. Taven chokes Alexander in the corner. Cole tags in and he kicks Alexander. Cole makes sure that the referee deals with Elgin and his attempt to interfere. Cole with a slam and then he rakes the eyes with his boots. Fish tags in and he punches Alexander.
Fish with a slam and we cut to a shot of the crowd where it appears that Eddie Kingston and Homicide have made their way to ringside to watch the match. Kyle tags in and he slams Alexander. Cole tags in and he may have slammed Alexander but we were too busy focusing on Todd Sinclair arguing with Kingston and Homicide.
Taven tags back in and he slams Alexander. Fish tags in and he slams Alexander. Kyle tags in and Alexander with forearms but Kyle with a forearm of his own. Alexander with a forearm and then Kyle responds. They go back and forth with Kyle getting the advantage but Kyle misses a leg sweep and Alexander with an enzuigiri and both men are down.
Elgin and Cole tag in but Cole does not realize Elgin tagged in until he was in the ring so he quickly tags in Taven. Taven misses a boot and Elgin with clotheslines to the front and back of the neck. Elgin with an Irish whip and clothesline. Taven with an elbow but Taven comes out of the corner and Elgin with an uranage choke slam. Elgin tries for an O’Connor Roll but Taven holds on to the ropes. Elgin with a Bossman Slam for a near fall that is broken up by Fish.
Fish and O’Reilly try to double team Elgin but Elgin avoids Fish in the corner and Elgin with a boot to O’Reilly. Elgin with a power slam to Fish. Elgin sees Cole on the apron while the other three men are in the ring. Cole goes to the floor while Elgin follows Cole around the ring.
Lethal, Alexander, and Coleman enter the ring and they go after Taven, Fish, and O’Reilly. As Cole and Elgin get to the other side of the ring, everybody goes to the floor in the same area. Lethal and Coleman are sent into the guardrails while Elgin sends Taven into the guardrails. Kyle sends Lethal into the guardrails.
Alexander sends Cole into the guardrails. Elgin sends Kyle shoulder first into the guardrails. Cole and Coleman exchange forearms. Taven hits Elgin from behind and then he Irish whips Elgin into the guardrails.
While this mayhem has been going on for at least a minute, Corino wonders if anyone is doing the twenty count.
Lethal goes after Taven but Fish hits Lethal from behind. Fish sends Lethal into the guardrails. Fish shows his muscles to Kingston and Homicide while Cole sends someone into the guardrails.
Taven and Elgin are in the ring and Taven gets a near fall. Cole wants to tag in now that Elgin is weakened but Taven with punches to Elgin. Taven with a boot to the head and then he tags in Cole. Cole sets for a suplex but he takes too long and Elgin counters and sets up for a power bomb but Cole goes to the floor. Elgin with a baseball slide to Cole. Elgin with a back body drop to Taven on the floor. Elgin catches Kyle O’Reilly and he presses him over his head and throws him onto Fish.
Cole gets back into the ring and so does Elgin. Cole begs for mercy. Cole offers his hand to Elgin and Elgin with a kick and he tries for a power bomb but Taven with a drop kick to the back.
Lethal comes in and goes after Taven and all eight men are back in the ring and the each pick a corner. The Champions are in their respective corners while the All Stars meet in the center of the ring and they hit clotheslines in the corner. Lethal and Elgin switch corners and clothesline Fish and Cole. Alexander and Coleman clothesline O’Reilly and Taven.
The four champions are now put in the Tree of Woe and they hit a four man baseball slide to Cole. They follow up with O’Reilly. Then they do Fish. Taven tries to pull himself out of the Tree of Woe and Alexander with a drop kick to the back to get him back down and then the other three hit a triple baseball slide.
Cole drops Elgin on the top rope and Taven tags in. Lethal with three clotheslines to Taven and chops. Fish with a knee to the back but Lethal knocks Fish off the apron and then he drops down and Taven goes over the top rope to the floor. Kyle with a clothesline to Lethal from the apron and Taven covers Lethal but gets a two count.
Kyle tags in and he kicks Lethal and hits a running knee drop for a near fall. Cole tags in but Lethal punches Kyle and Cole. Kyle with a knee to the midsection followed by a kick to the back and Cole with a drop kick. Fish argues with Kyle about him working so well with his former Future Shock tag team partner but Kyle says everything is okay. Cole gets a near fall on Lethal.
Cole and Lethal with forearms but Cole with a rake of the eyes. Fish tags in and he punches Lethal in the midsection. Fish with a kick to the chest and then to the head for a near fall. Kyle tags in and while Fish tries to distract Jay’s partners, Kyle sends Jay into the turnbuckles. Fish and O’Reilly Irish whip Lethal into the turnbuckles. Fish with a running knee followed by a running boot from Kyle. Fish with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker to Lethal and Kyle with a knee from the turnbuckles for a near fall.
Taven tags in and he kicks Lethal in the ribs and then he chokes Jay. Taven with a suplex and he kips up. Taven with a springboard senton for a near fall. Taven with a front face lock to keep Lethal from making the tag. Fish goes after Coleman and Alexander on the apron to make the tag even harder. Elgin comes in but the referee sends him to the apron.
Cole tags in and he kicks Lethal and chokes him. Cole with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Lethal with punches to Cole followed by a chop. Cole with a back elbow and he tags in Taven. Taven with a kick to the hamstring and then the body. Taven with a punch followed by an Iris whip but Lethal with a knee and a leg lariat off the turnbuckles.
Taven grabs the ankle to keep Jay from making the tag and Jay kicks Taven away and Alexander tags in and hits a springboard clothesline to Cole. Alexander backs Fish into the corner and Kyle comes in and Alexander moves so Kyle hits Fish with a forearm. Alexander with a running drop kick to both men in the corner and he follows with another running drop kick into the corner on Fish. Alexander with a clothesline to Cole but Taven with a knee to Alexander. Taven with an Irish whip but Alexander goes to the turnbuckles and hits an enzuigiri to Taven and Taven is down.
Alexander gets Cole on his shoulders and hits a kick to Cole’s head but Cole kicks out at two. Alexander points to the turnbuckles and he goes up top. Cole gets back to his feet and he moves out of the way. Alexander lands on his feet. Cole tries for a super kick but Alexander blocks it. Alexander and Cole with waist locks and standing switches and then Alexander sends Cole through the ropes to the floor. Alexander sets for a suicide dive but Cole sees it coming and he hits an enzuigiri.
Coleman with an Arabian Press Asai Moonsault onto Cole. Fish runs Coleman into the guardrails and Fish appears to have injured his head. O’Reilly hits the running drop kick off the apron to Coleman.
Kingston and Homicide go over the guardrails and they attack O’Reilly and Fish. Everyone is on the floor but Alexander and Taven. Taven hits a plancha onto a lot of people on the floor, including some of his partners in the match. Not to be outdone, Alexander hits a plancha onto everyone while security stands there and watches.
Security tries to get Homicide and Kingston to leave but Homicide and Kingston decide to attack security despite their illegal interference in the match. They are escorted to the back as the match continues.
Cole and Alexander are the legal men in the match and Alexander goes up top for a springboard move but he is met with a superkick from Cole and Cole pins Alexander.
Cedric Alexander Eliminated
Elgin gets in the ring while Cole celebrates his elimination of Cedric. Elgin with a kick and he tries for a power bomb but Cole escapes. Elgin tries for the Crossface and he applies it. Lethal pulls Elgin off because he wants the title match. Elgin grabs Lethal and they push each other while Taven tags in. Taven with a drop kick to Lethal’s back and Lethal collides with Elgin and Elgin goes to the apron.
Taven with an Irish whip but Coleman makes the blind tag. Taven goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Lethal lands on his feet. Lethal and Coleman with stereo enzuigiris to Taven. Taven sends Coleman over the top rope to the floor but Lethal hits the Lethal Combination. Scarlett gets on the apron and she shows her assets to Lethal.
Scarlett kisses Jay and he turns around and he hits the Lethal Combination again and he goes up top for the elbow drop but Kacey Ray gets on the apron to try to stop Lethal. Lethal picks her up and puts her on the turnbuckles. She slaps Lethal and then Taven with a super kick that sends Lethal and Kacey through a table at ringside.
Officials check on Lethal and Kacey while Coleman gets a near fall with a rollup. Coleman with a leaping leg lariat for a near fall. Coleman takes care of Fish and O’Reilly on the apron. Taven with a chop to Coleman but Coleman punches Taven. Coleman with a Northern Lights suplex and he rolls through into a second one. Coleman with a third Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Coleman with a back heel kick.
Taven sets for Climax but Cole makes the tag and the referee tells Taven that he is not the legal man. Cole tells Taven to get to the apron. Cole gets a near fall because the argument allowed Coleman to recover. Taven and Cole appear to have made up because they hit a double super kick on Elgin.
Cole hits the Florida Key to pin Coleman.
Caprice Coleman Eliminated
We are down to a four on two situation and Nigel makes his way to ringside to check on Jay Lethal.
Elgin and Cole are in the ring and Fish and O’Reilly are on the apron as they surround Elgin. Elgin with forearms to Taven and Fish and then he goes after Cole and O’Reilly but the numbers are too much for Elgin. The four on one attack continue. Taven with a choke to Elgin and Taven gets a near fall. Taven with a body scissor and rear chin lock. Elgin rolls over and he gets to his feet.
Elgin backs Taven into the turnbuckles. Elgin misses a splash into the corner and O’Reilly tags in. Kyle with a knee drop for a near fall. Fish tags in and they hit a double suplex on Elgin and Fish chokes Elgin and he complains about how the referee is not making the count. Elgin with a cover for a near fall.
We are told that Nigel is trying to get Lethal to quit but Lethal refuses. Fish with a snap mare and then he hits a double slingshot senton for a near fall. Cole tags in and he kicks Elgin and he wraps the leg in the ropes. Cole with kicks to the hamstring and a knee bar for a near fall. Elgin kicks Cole but Cole holds on and then he rakes the eyes.
Taven tags back in and he kicks Elgin. Taven chokes Elgin with his leg. Elgin goes after Cole on the apron and Kyle tags in. Taven with a side Russian leg sweep and then Kyle tries for a suplex but Elgin blocks it. Elgin tries for a suplex but Kyle with a waist lock after landing on his feet. Elgin with elbows but Kyle with a knee. Elgin with a TKO face buster and both men are down.
Lethal tries to get on the apron and he falls to the floor again. Kyle with a cross arm breaker but Elgin fights through the pain and he picks up Kyle and hits a power bomb. Elgin with a kick to Taven followed by an enzuigiri to Cole. Cole falls of the apron and then he takes care of Fish. Kyle with a boot and tornado DDT into a guillotine.
Elgin with a counter into a suplex that he turns into a side slam and he gets a near fall because Fish breaks up the cover. Elgin goes for a power bomb but Fish climbs on Kyle’s back and he applies a sleeper but Elgin backs Fish into the corner. Taven charges into the corner and is met with a boot.
Fish gets back on Elgin’s back with the sleeper but Elgin picks up Taven and hits a German suplex while Fish was on his back. Kyle with a scissors kick and Elgin with a back fist and a short arm clothesline for the three count.
Kyle O’Reilly Eliminated
Fish attacks Elgin and punches him. Fish with boots to Elgin and a kick to the chest. Fish chokes Elgin in the ropes and Cole tags in. Cole with kicks and we see Lethal being helped to the back despite the crowd’s desire for Lethal to return to the apron.
Cole kicks Elgin while Taven tags in. Taven punches Elgin and then he puts Elgin on the turnbuckles. Taven climbs the turnbuckles but Elgin with punches and he knocks Taven to the mat. Fish climbs the turnbuckles and Elgin knocks him off. He does the same to Cole. Taven goes for a super kick but Elgin moves and Taven hits Fish and sends him to the floor.
Elgin with an Exploder suplex to Taven and he goes up top for the gorilla superplex on Cole. Meanwhile, Jay Lethal is still being checked out and Jay is on the apron despite Nigel and the referees.
Lethal tags in and he clotheslines Taven, Cole, and Fish. Lethal sends Taven tot eh floor. Lethal sends Cole to the floor. Fish with forearms and Lethal sends Fish to the apron and then he hits a springboard drop kick that sends Fish to the floor. Lethal with a suicide dive onto Fish and then he hits one on Cole. He goes for the third one on Taven and he connects. Martini tries to interfere and Lethal with a super kick that sends Truth to the floor.
Taven hits Lethal from behind and Lethal goes for a Cloverleaf on Taven and he locks it in. Cole tags in and he gives Lethal a super kick to the back of the head followed by a brainbuster shoulder breaker for the three count.
Jay Lethal Eliminated
We are down to a three on one situation. Taven and Cole with a double suplex on Elgin and then Taven goes up top for a frog splash but Elgin moves. Elgin puts Taven in the Crossface and Cole and Fish attack Elgin to get him to release the hold. Fish is sent to the floor and Elgin back drops Cole onto Fish. Taven tries for Climax but Elgin counters and puts Taven in the Crossface and Taven taps out.
Matt Taven Eliminated
Fish goes to the turnbuckles and he connects with an elbow to the back. Fish with a kick to the head and he applies a waist lock for a Saito suplex but Elgin blocks it. Fish with a kick to the head but Elgin kicks out. Cole comes in and Elgin with punches and forearms to Cole and Fish. Fish with a forearm and Cole with one two and Fish hits a Saito suplex. Fish gets a near fall. Cole goes for the Florida Key but Elgin backs Cole into the corner.
Elgin moves and Cole gets Fish on his shoulders for some reason. Elgin hits a German suplex on Cole while Fish is still on his shoulders and everyone is down. Cole gets to his feet and he picks up Elgin even though he is not the legal man. Cole is put in the Crossface but the referee does not check. Fish with a rake of the eyes.
Fish with a knee to the midsection but Elgin moves when Fish charges. Elgin puts Fish’s leg in the ropes and he connects with a clothesline. Elgin with a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles and Elgin gets a near fall. Cole kicks Elgin in the hamstring but Elgin kicks Cole.
Fish with a waist lock and Elgin kicks Cole. Elgin with a forearm and then he gets Fish on his shoulders and he picks up Cole and hits a fallaway slam while Fish is still on his shoulders. Cole falls to the floor.
Elgin with a back fist and buckle bomb followed by a spinning sit out Elgin Bomb for the three count.
Bobby Fish Eliminated
We are down to the final two men in the match, Adam Cole and Michael Elgin.
Elgin tells Cole to get into the ring but Fish has a chair and he hits Elgin in the head with the chair.. Cole can only get a two count on Elgin. Cole tries to find his ‘happy place’ to be able to finish off Elgin.
Cole with a boot to the head and he tells Elgin to stay down. Elgin shows Cole that he is ‘number one’. Cole with another boot to Elgin and Elgin spits at Cole. Cole misses a third boot and Elgin with a rollup for a near fall. Elgin blocks a kick and Cole tries for an O’Connor Roll but Elgin holds on to the ropes. Elgin with Chaos Theory for a near fall. Elgin holds on and hits a German suplex for a near fall.
Both men are down but Elgin gets up first. Elgin goes for a power bomb but Cole escapes. Cole tries for a figure four but Elgin sends Cole to the floor. Elgin with an enzuigiri from the floor and Elgin goes down. Cole goes to the turnbuckles and he wants to hit a double jump flip piledriver but Elgin blocks it. Elgin tries to get Cole on his shoulders but Cole reverses and hits a Death Valley Neck Breaker and he hits a running knee for a near fall.
Cole with a front face lock and he tries for a suplex but Elgin blocks it. Elgin tries for a suplex but Cole blocks it. Elgin with a spinning palm thrust but Cole with a super kick and he kicks Elgin’s arm. Cole with a super kick to the back of the head for a near fall.
Cole tries for Florida Key but Elgin blocks it and he sends Cole to the mat with a snap mare. Cole runs into the corner and Elgin with an uranage. Elgin misses a clothesline but Cole misses a boot. Elgin with a lariat and he gets a near fall. Cole rolls to the floor and Elgin follows Cole to the floor. Both men are down on the floor. Elgin sets for a power bomb on the floor but Cole lands on his feet. Cole with a super kick and Cole hits a Florida Key on the floor. The referee checks on Elgin’s neck.
Cole rolls back into the ring and the referee starts his count. The referee gets to thirteen before Elgin starts moving. Elgin gets in at nineteen. Cole with a figure four leg lock and he has Elgin in the center of the ring. Elgin’s shoulders are down and Cole gets a two count. Elgin gets to the ropes and Cole releases the hold. Cole tries for the figure four leg lock again but Elgin with an inside cradle for a near fall.
Elgin applies the Crossface and Cole rolls Elgin over to get a near fall. Elgin returns to the Crossface and Cole is able to get to the ropes. Elgin points to the corner for the buckle bomb and he gets Cole up for the buckle bomb but Cole with a sunset flip. Elgin picks Cole up and then he hits a back fist and Cole is down.
Elgin picks up Cole and Elgin climbs the turnbuckles but Cole with a bicycle kick. Cole climbs the turnbuckles and hits a super rana. Cole goes to the turnbuckles and he hits the flip piledriver but Elgin kicks out at two.
Cole puts Elgin on the turnbuckles and he goes for a super Florida Key but Elgin with elbows to send Cole to the mat. Elgin puts Cole on the turnbuckles. Cole with forearms and head butts but Elgin with a spinning back fist. Elgin with a super sit out Elgin Bomb for the three count.
Adam Cole Eliminated
Winners: Michael Elgin, Caprice Coleman, Cedric Alexander, and Jay Lethal (Michael Elgin earns a World Title Match)
After the match, the referees check on Cole and Elgin.
Jay Briscoe makes his way to the ring and he has a bag in his hand. Elgin gets up and he has something to say to Briscoe. Briscoe says something back to Elgin and then he hits Elgin with the bag. Briscoe then hits Cole with the bag.
Briscoe gets the mic and he wants to know how they could have a Champions versus All Stars match without the Real World Champion. Briscoe reveals a personalized World Title Belt.

Taven returns to the ring and he tags in Fish. Fish with a waist lock but Lethal backs Fish into the corner and Jay with a chop. Alexander tags in and he connects with an elbow to he arm and he follows with a wrist lock and arm bar. Fish with a drop toe hold into a rear chin lock and side head lock. Alexander with a knee to the midsection followed by a boot to the head for a near fall.
Alexander with a front face lock and he tags in Coleman. Caprice with punches to Fish followed by a leg lariat. Fish with a reverse atomic drop and he tags in Kyle. Kyle with a side head lock. Kyle with a shoulder tackle but Coleman with arm drags. Kyle blocks a hip toss but Caprice with a drop kick. Elgin tags in and he kicks Kyle in the chest.
Elgin with an elbow to the back of the neck. Elgin with a hard Irish whip and he gets a near fall. Kyle with a jawbreaker and he tags in Taven because Cole does not want to get involved yet. Taven with a delayed vertical suplex and he kips up but Elgin is already on his feet and he shows Taven how to give a delayed vertical suplex the right way but Fish kicks Elgin in the chest. Elgin keeps Taven up. O’Reilly with a kick as well and Elgin keeps Taven up.
Everyone gets involved and Taven is taken to the floor and the Champions discuss strategy.
Taven returns to the ring and he kicks Elgin and applies a side head lock and take down. Elgin with a shoulder tackle and Taven stays on his feet. Taven with a shoulder tackle and Elgin does not go down. Taven tells Elgin to go off the ropes and Elgin with a shoulder tackle to Taven. Lethal tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles for a double sledge to the back. Lethal with an Irish whip and back body drop.
Lethal gets a near fall on Taven. Kyle tags in and they keep Lethal stuck in the corner. Everyone chokes Lethal in the corner and then Kyle sends Lethal into the turnbuckles. Kyle with punches in the corner followed by an Irish whip but Lethal with a boot and moonsault for a near fall.
Fish makes the save for his tag team partner. Coleman tags in and he punches Kyle and slams him. Coleman with a leaping leg drop for a near fall. Kyle with a jaw breaker but Coleman tries for a sunset flip. Kyle stays on his feet long enough to tag in Fish. Coleman gets Kyle over and Fish with a kick to the back. Fish and O’Reilly try to double team Coleman but Coleman with a double drop kick.
Alexander tags in and he holds Fish for a leg lariat Hart Attack from Coleman. Alexander gets a near fall. Alexander with a punch and he tags in Lethal who hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Coleman tags in and hits a double sledge to the arm from the turnbuckles. Alexander tags in and he does the same to the arm. Fish kicks Elgin on the apron but Elgin tags in and he hits a double sledge from the top to the arm and Fish is in a lot of pain.
Elgin with a wrist lock and shoulders to the arm. Elgin with uppercuts to the left arm and then he puts his whole body weight on the arm. Elgin with an arm bar but Fish rolls through. Lethal tags in and he kicks Fish. Lethal with a knee and chop to Fish.
Fish with a forearm but Lethal with chops. Lethal with a hip toss followed by a cartwheel and drop kick for a near fall. Fish with a punch to Lethal but Lethal punches back. Lethal with a drop kick for a near fall. Alexander tags in and he punches Fish. Alexander with a European uppercut and he gets a near fall.
Alexander chops Fish and Fish goes to the floor. Alexander follows Fish around the ring and Fish returns to the ring and Kyle makes the blind tag while Alexander returns to the ring. Alexander hits Kyle but Fish with a kick to the leg and Alexander goes down. Kyle with a kick to the chest and Lethal comes into the ring but the referee sends him back to the apron.
Kyle runs up top Cedric and then he stops and slaps him in the face. Alexander with a forearm to Kyle followed by one to Fish, Taven, and Cole on the apron. Alexander with forearms to Kyle. Kyle with a kick but Alexander tries for a suplex. Kyle with a knee to the head and he returns to the mat. Kyle with a kick and slap followed by a series of kicks and a back heel sweep for a near fall.
Taven tags in and he kicks Alexander in the ribs. Taven chokes Alexander in the corner. Cole tags in and he kicks Alexander. Cole makes sure that the referee deals with Elgin and his attempt to interfere. Cole with a slam and then he rakes the eyes with his boots. Fish tags in and he punches Alexander.
Fish with a slam and we cut to a shot of the crowd where it appears that Eddie Kingston and Homicide have made their way to ringside to watch the match. Kyle tags in and he slams Alexander. Cole tags in and he may have slammed Alexander but we were too busy focusing on Todd Sinclair arguing with Kingston and Homicide.
Taven tags back in and he slams Alexander. Fish tags in and he slams Alexander. Kyle tags in and Alexander with forearms but Kyle with a forearm of his own. Alexander with a forearm and then Kyle responds. They go back and forth with Kyle getting the advantage but Kyle misses a leg sweep and Alexander with an enzuigiri and both men are down.
Elgin and Cole tag in but Cole does not realize Elgin tagged in until he was in the ring so he quickly tags in Taven. Taven misses a boot and Elgin with clotheslines to the front and back of the neck. Elgin with an Irish whip and clothesline. Taven with an elbow but Taven comes out of the corner and Elgin with an uranage choke slam. Elgin tries for an O’Connor Roll but Taven holds on to the ropes. Elgin with a Bossman Slam for a near fall that is broken up by Fish.
Fish and O’Reilly try to double team Elgin but Elgin avoids Fish in the corner and Elgin with a boot to O’Reilly. Elgin with a power slam to Fish. Elgin sees Cole on the apron while the other three men are in the ring. Cole goes to the floor while Elgin follows Cole around the ring.
Lethal, Alexander, and Coleman enter the ring and they go after Taven, Fish, and O’Reilly. As Cole and Elgin get to the other side of the ring, everybody goes to the floor in the same area. Lethal and Coleman are sent into the guardrails while Elgin sends Taven into the guardrails. Kyle sends Lethal into the guardrails.
Alexander sends Cole into the guardrails. Elgin sends Kyle shoulder first into the guardrails. Cole and Coleman exchange forearms. Taven hits Elgin from behind and then he Irish whips Elgin into the guardrails.
While this mayhem has been going on for at least a minute, Corino wonders if anyone is doing the twenty count.
Lethal goes after Taven but Fish hits Lethal from behind. Fish sends Lethal into the guardrails. Fish shows his muscles to Kingston and Homicide while Cole sends someone into the guardrails.
Taven and Elgin are in the ring and Taven gets a near fall. Cole wants to tag in now that Elgin is weakened but Taven with punches to Elgin. Taven with a boot to the head and then he tags in Cole. Cole sets for a suplex but he takes too long and Elgin counters and sets up for a power bomb but Cole goes to the floor. Elgin with a baseball slide to Cole. Elgin with a back body drop to Taven on the floor. Elgin catches Kyle O’Reilly and he presses him over his head and throws him onto Fish.
Cole gets back into the ring and so does Elgin. Cole begs for mercy. Cole offers his hand to Elgin and Elgin with a kick and he tries for a power bomb but Taven with a drop kick to the back.
Lethal comes in and goes after Taven and all eight men are back in the ring and the each pick a corner. The Champions are in their respective corners while the All Stars meet in the center of the ring and they hit clotheslines in the corner. Lethal and Elgin switch corners and clothesline Fish and Cole. Alexander and Coleman clothesline O’Reilly and Taven.
The four champions are now put in the Tree of Woe and they hit a four man baseball slide to Cole. They follow up with O’Reilly. Then they do Fish. Taven tries to pull himself out of the Tree of Woe and Alexander with a drop kick to the back to get him back down and then the other three hit a triple baseball slide.
Cole drops Elgin on the top rope and Taven tags in. Lethal with three clotheslines to Taven and chops. Fish with a knee to the back but Lethal knocks Fish off the apron and then he drops down and Taven goes over the top rope to the floor. Kyle with a clothesline to Lethal from the apron and Taven covers Lethal but gets a two count.
Kyle tags in and he kicks Lethal and hits a running knee drop for a near fall. Cole tags in but Lethal punches Kyle and Cole. Kyle with a knee to the midsection followed by a kick to the back and Cole with a drop kick. Fish argues with Kyle about him working so well with his former Future Shock tag team partner but Kyle says everything is okay. Cole gets a near fall on Lethal.
Cole and Lethal with forearms but Cole with a rake of the eyes. Fish tags in and he punches Lethal in the midsection. Fish with a kick to the chest and then to the head for a near fall. Kyle tags in and while Fish tries to distract Jay’s partners, Kyle sends Jay into the turnbuckles. Fish and O’Reilly Irish whip Lethal into the turnbuckles. Fish with a running knee followed by a running boot from Kyle. Fish with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker to Lethal and Kyle with a knee from the turnbuckles for a near fall.
Taven tags in and he kicks Lethal in the ribs and then he chokes Jay. Taven with a suplex and he kips up. Taven with a springboard senton for a near fall. Taven with a front face lock to keep Lethal from making the tag. Fish goes after Coleman and Alexander on the apron to make the tag even harder. Elgin comes in but the referee sends him to the apron.
Cole tags in and he kicks Lethal and chokes him. Cole with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Lethal with punches to Cole followed by a chop. Cole with a back elbow and he tags in Taven. Taven with a kick to the hamstring and then the body. Taven with a punch followed by an Iris whip but Lethal with a knee and a leg lariat off the turnbuckles.
Taven grabs the ankle to keep Jay from making the tag and Jay kicks Taven away and Alexander tags in and hits a springboard clothesline to Cole. Alexander backs Fish into the corner and Kyle comes in and Alexander moves so Kyle hits Fish with a forearm. Alexander with a running drop kick to both men in the corner and he follows with another running drop kick into the corner on Fish. Alexander with a clothesline to Cole but Taven with a knee to Alexander. Taven with an Irish whip but Alexander goes to the turnbuckles and hits an enzuigiri to Taven and Taven is down.
Alexander gets Cole on his shoulders and hits a kick to Cole’s head but Cole kicks out at two. Alexander points to the turnbuckles and he goes up top. Cole gets back to his feet and he moves out of the way. Alexander lands on his feet. Cole tries for a super kick but Alexander blocks it. Alexander and Cole with waist locks and standing switches and then Alexander sends Cole through the ropes to the floor. Alexander sets for a suicide dive but Cole sees it coming and he hits an enzuigiri.
Coleman with an Arabian Press Asai Moonsault onto Cole. Fish runs Coleman into the guardrails and Fish appears to have injured his head. O’Reilly hits the running drop kick off the apron to Coleman.
Kingston and Homicide go over the guardrails and they attack O’Reilly and Fish. Everyone is on the floor but Alexander and Taven. Taven hits a plancha onto a lot of people on the floor, including some of his partners in the match. Not to be outdone, Alexander hits a plancha onto everyone while security stands there and watches.
Security tries to get Homicide and Kingston to leave but Homicide and Kingston decide to attack security despite their illegal interference in the match. They are escorted to the back as the match continues.
Cole and Alexander are the legal men in the match and Alexander goes up top for a springboard move but he is met with a superkick from Cole and Cole pins Alexander.
Cedric Alexander Eliminated
Elgin gets in the ring while Cole celebrates his elimination of Cedric. Elgin with a kick and he tries for a power bomb but Cole escapes. Elgin tries for the Crossface and he applies it. Lethal pulls Elgin off because he wants the title match. Elgin grabs Lethal and they push each other while Taven tags in. Taven with a drop kick to Lethal’s back and Lethal collides with Elgin and Elgin goes to the apron.
Taven with an Irish whip but Coleman makes the blind tag. Taven goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Lethal lands on his feet. Lethal and Coleman with stereo enzuigiris to Taven. Taven sends Coleman over the top rope to the floor but Lethal hits the Lethal Combination. Scarlett gets on the apron and she shows her assets to Lethal.
Scarlett kisses Jay and he turns around and he hits the Lethal Combination again and he goes up top for the elbow drop but Kacey Ray gets on the apron to try to stop Lethal. Lethal picks her up and puts her on the turnbuckles. She slaps Lethal and then Taven with a super kick that sends Lethal and Kacey through a table at ringside.
Officials check on Lethal and Kacey while Coleman gets a near fall with a rollup. Coleman with a leaping leg lariat for a near fall. Coleman takes care of Fish and O’Reilly on the apron. Taven with a chop to Coleman but Coleman punches Taven. Coleman with a Northern Lights suplex and he rolls through into a second one. Coleman with a third Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Coleman with a back heel kick.
Taven sets for Climax but Cole makes the tag and the referee tells Taven that he is not the legal man. Cole tells Taven to get to the apron. Cole gets a near fall because the argument allowed Coleman to recover. Taven and Cole appear to have made up because they hit a double super kick on Elgin.
Cole hits the Florida Key to pin Coleman.
Caprice Coleman Eliminated
We are down to a four on two situation and Nigel makes his way to ringside to check on Jay Lethal.
Elgin and Cole are in the ring and Fish and O’Reilly are on the apron as they surround Elgin. Elgin with forearms to Taven and Fish and then he goes after Cole and O’Reilly but the numbers are too much for Elgin. The four on one attack continue. Taven with a choke to Elgin and Taven gets a near fall. Taven with a body scissor and rear chin lock. Elgin rolls over and he gets to his feet.
Elgin backs Taven into the turnbuckles. Elgin misses a splash into the corner and O’Reilly tags in. Kyle with a knee drop for a near fall. Fish tags in and they hit a double suplex on Elgin and Fish chokes Elgin and he complains about how the referee is not making the count. Elgin with a cover for a near fall.
We are told that Nigel is trying to get Lethal to quit but Lethal refuses. Fish with a snap mare and then he hits a double slingshot senton for a near fall. Cole tags in and he kicks Elgin and he wraps the leg in the ropes. Cole with kicks to the hamstring and a knee bar for a near fall. Elgin kicks Cole but Cole holds on and then he rakes the eyes.
Taven tags back in and he kicks Elgin. Taven chokes Elgin with his leg. Elgin goes after Cole on the apron and Kyle tags in. Taven with a side Russian leg sweep and then Kyle tries for a suplex but Elgin blocks it. Elgin tries for a suplex but Kyle with a waist lock after landing on his feet. Elgin with elbows but Kyle with a knee. Elgin with a TKO face buster and both men are down.
Lethal tries to get on the apron and he falls to the floor again. Kyle with a cross arm breaker but Elgin fights through the pain and he picks up Kyle and hits a power bomb. Elgin with a kick to Taven followed by an enzuigiri to Cole. Cole falls of the apron and then he takes care of Fish. Kyle with a boot and tornado DDT into a guillotine.
Elgin with a counter into a suplex that he turns into a side slam and he gets a near fall because Fish breaks up the cover. Elgin goes for a power bomb but Fish climbs on Kyle’s back and he applies a sleeper but Elgin backs Fish into the corner. Taven charges into the corner and is met with a boot.
Fish gets back on Elgin’s back with the sleeper but Elgin picks up Taven and hits a German suplex while Fish was on his back. Kyle with a scissors kick and Elgin with a back fist and a short arm clothesline for the three count.
Kyle O’Reilly Eliminated
Fish attacks Elgin and punches him. Fish with boots to Elgin and a kick to the chest. Fish chokes Elgin in the ropes and Cole tags in. Cole with kicks and we see Lethal being helped to the back despite the crowd’s desire for Lethal to return to the apron.
Cole kicks Elgin while Taven tags in. Taven punches Elgin and then he puts Elgin on the turnbuckles. Taven climbs the turnbuckles but Elgin with punches and he knocks Taven to the mat. Fish climbs the turnbuckles and Elgin knocks him off. He does the same to Cole. Taven goes for a super kick but Elgin moves and Taven hits Fish and sends him to the floor.
Elgin with an Exploder suplex to Taven and he goes up top for the gorilla superplex on Cole. Meanwhile, Jay Lethal is still being checked out and Jay is on the apron despite Nigel and the referees.
Lethal tags in and he clotheslines Taven, Cole, and Fish. Lethal sends Taven tot eh floor. Lethal sends Cole to the floor. Fish with forearms and Lethal sends Fish to the apron and then he hits a springboard drop kick that sends Fish to the floor. Lethal with a suicide dive onto Fish and then he hits one on Cole. He goes for the third one on Taven and he connects. Martini tries to interfere and Lethal with a super kick that sends Truth to the floor.
Taven hits Lethal from behind and Lethal goes for a Cloverleaf on Taven and he locks it in. Cole tags in and he gives Lethal a super kick to the back of the head followed by a brainbuster shoulder breaker for the three count.
Jay Lethal Eliminated
We are down to a three on one situation. Taven and Cole with a double suplex on Elgin and then Taven goes up top for a frog splash but Elgin moves. Elgin puts Taven in the Crossface and Cole and Fish attack Elgin to get him to release the hold. Fish is sent to the floor and Elgin back drops Cole onto Fish. Taven tries for Climax but Elgin counters and puts Taven in the Crossface and Taven taps out.
Matt Taven Eliminated
Fish goes to the turnbuckles and he connects with an elbow to the back. Fish with a kick to the head and he applies a waist lock for a Saito suplex but Elgin blocks it. Fish with a kick to the head but Elgin kicks out. Cole comes in and Elgin with punches and forearms to Cole and Fish. Fish with a forearm and Cole with one two and Fish hits a Saito suplex. Fish gets a near fall. Cole goes for the Florida Key but Elgin backs Cole into the corner.
Elgin moves and Cole gets Fish on his shoulders for some reason. Elgin hits a German suplex on Cole while Fish is still on his shoulders and everyone is down. Cole gets to his feet and he picks up Elgin even though he is not the legal man. Cole is put in the Crossface but the referee does not check. Fish with a rake of the eyes.
Fish with a knee to the midsection but Elgin moves when Fish charges. Elgin puts Fish’s leg in the ropes and he connects with a clothesline. Elgin with a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles and Elgin gets a near fall. Cole kicks Elgin in the hamstring but Elgin kicks Cole.
Fish with a waist lock and Elgin kicks Cole. Elgin with a forearm and then he gets Fish on his shoulders and he picks up Cole and hits a fallaway slam while Fish is still on his shoulders. Cole falls to the floor.
Elgin with a back fist and buckle bomb followed by a spinning sit out Elgin Bomb for the three count.
Bobby Fish Eliminated
We are down to the final two men in the match, Adam Cole and Michael Elgin.
Elgin tells Cole to get into the ring but Fish has a chair and he hits Elgin in the head with the chair.. Cole can only get a two count on Elgin. Cole tries to find his ‘happy place’ to be able to finish off Elgin.
Cole with a boot to the head and he tells Elgin to stay down. Elgin shows Cole that he is ‘number one’. Cole with another boot to Elgin and Elgin spits at Cole. Cole misses a third boot and Elgin with a rollup for a near fall. Elgin blocks a kick and Cole tries for an O’Connor Roll but Elgin holds on to the ropes. Elgin with Chaos Theory for a near fall. Elgin holds on and hits a German suplex for a near fall.
Both men are down but Elgin gets up first. Elgin goes for a power bomb but Cole escapes. Cole tries for a figure four but Elgin sends Cole to the floor. Elgin with an enzuigiri from the floor and Elgin goes down. Cole goes to the turnbuckles and he wants to hit a double jump flip piledriver but Elgin blocks it. Elgin tries to get Cole on his shoulders but Cole reverses and hits a Death Valley Neck Breaker and he hits a running knee for a near fall.
Cole with a front face lock and he tries for a suplex but Elgin blocks it. Elgin tries for a suplex but Cole blocks it. Elgin with a spinning palm thrust but Cole with a super kick and he kicks Elgin’s arm. Cole with a super kick to the back of the head for a near fall.
Cole tries for Florida Key but Elgin blocks it and he sends Cole to the mat with a snap mare. Cole runs into the corner and Elgin with an uranage. Elgin misses a clothesline but Cole misses a boot. Elgin with a lariat and he gets a near fall. Cole rolls to the floor and Elgin follows Cole to the floor. Both men are down on the floor. Elgin sets for a power bomb on the floor but Cole lands on his feet. Cole with a super kick and Cole hits a Florida Key on the floor. The referee checks on Elgin’s neck.
Cole rolls back into the ring and the referee starts his count. The referee gets to thirteen before Elgin starts moving. Elgin gets in at nineteen. Cole with a figure four leg lock and he has Elgin in the center of the ring. Elgin’s shoulders are down and Cole gets a two count. Elgin gets to the ropes and Cole releases the hold. Cole tries for the figure four leg lock again but Elgin with an inside cradle for a near fall.
Elgin applies the Crossface and Cole rolls Elgin over to get a near fall. Elgin returns to the Crossface and Cole is able to get to the ropes. Elgin points to the corner for the buckle bomb and he gets Cole up for the buckle bomb but Cole with a sunset flip. Elgin picks Cole up and then he hits a back fist and Cole is down.
Elgin picks up Cole and Elgin climbs the turnbuckles but Cole with a bicycle kick. Cole climbs the turnbuckles and hits a super rana. Cole goes to the turnbuckles and he hits the flip piledriver but Elgin kicks out at two.
Cole puts Elgin on the turnbuckles and he goes for a super Florida Key but Elgin with elbows to send Cole to the mat. Elgin puts Cole on the turnbuckles. Cole with forearms and head butts but Elgin with a spinning back fist. Elgin with a super sit out Elgin Bomb for the three count.
Adam Cole Eliminated
Winners: Michael Elgin, Caprice Coleman, Cedric Alexander, and Jay Lethal (Michael Elgin earns a World Title Match)
After the match, the referees check on Cole and Elgin.
Jay Briscoe makes his way to the ring and he has a bag in his hand. Elgin gets up and he has something to say to Briscoe. Briscoe says something back to Elgin and then he hits Elgin with the bag. Briscoe then hits Cole with the bag.
Briscoe gets the mic and he wants to know how they could have a Champions versus All Stars match without the Real World Champion. Briscoe reveals a personalized World Title Belt.
