Just got back from my first concert of 2014, Kataklysym, Krisiun and Fleshgod Apocalypse at the London Underworld in Camden, some notes before I go into the bands.
1: The venue was small but it helped the atmosphere of the show.
2: The crowd was crazy all night along, there was a Wall of Death for Shadows and Dust that was insane!
3: I was spotted in the crowd by Krisiun's guitarist and Maurizo of Kataklysym, got an air bro fist from the guitarist and me and Maurizo pointed the devil horns at each other, awesome!
Now to the bands:
FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE: Arrived about 15 minutes into their set but I got to hear my favorite song by them (The Violation) and they were awesome.
Krisiun: This was my first time experiencing these Brazilian monsters as I don't have an album by them and I haven't seen them live, however they kicked ass and did a killer cover of "Black Metal" by Venom!
Kataklysm: Best band of the night, awesome set, awesome energy, Maurizo did the kneeling hair swing and the wall of death for Shadows and Dust was amazing as well.
All in all fantastic night and I highly recommend all three bands.
