Vince Rumored to Buy Soccer Team, Miz & Alicia Note

- Alicia Fox and The Miz will be on the Cartoon Network's Hall of Game Awards tonight at 7pm EST as award presenters. The Miz and other WWE Superstars are also up for an award.

- The WWE SmackDown rating won't be available until Tuesday due to today being President's Day.

- No word has came out yet about the status of WWE's TV deal after NBC Universal's exclusive negotiating period with WWE ended this past Friday. We should know more about the status of WWE's TV deal on Thursday when the company presents fourth quarter and yearly financial results.

- Vince McMahon is once again rumored to buy the Newcastle United club in the English Premiere League. The UK's Winner Sports website brought the rumor up again today. The rumor has been going on for several years and when it popped up back in January of this year, a Newcastle representative called it "non-sense."

McMahon might be getting a little big in the britches if he thinks he can buy a club and be successful with it. It takes a lot of money to be a owner of any team in any league, yet alone the top competition. Unless he is going in as a part owner I don't see this happening. Hate to see the XFL happen to that club.

He would WRECK that club. He'd want to re-name the club, change the crest, re-name the stadium. Gawd this would be so awful.
