The first day is in the books, and WWE Network is obviously going through the growing pains of a massive launch. I'm not worried, though. Live streaming works great, though on-demand streaming needs worked on. I've gotten to relive some of the best PPV's from my childhood and for that I can't complain. Even if the on-demand were to never work, $9.99 a month for live PPV is a steal.
Vince McMahon had estimated that to break even, the WWE Network would need 1,000,000 subscribers. At last check, the WWE Network had 700,000 downloads just in iTunes alone. This is the future of not only wrestling, but the future of television. WWE is successfully cutting out the middleman and directly transmitting their content to fan's TVs.
