Fandango recently spoke with Sky Sports while promoting WWE's upcoming WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view. Here are some highlights:

The success of his theme music: "There were lots of European fans at the Raw the night after WrestleMania and as the show progressed the fans got more and more into my music. A good relationship often starts off on a rocky road. The song went to number 11 in the iTunes chart and a lot of clubs were playing my music at their games, so a lot of WWE fans Tweeted Everton and said 'play Fandango's music at your games'. Everton refused and me being the shy, quiet type that I am, I sent a few friendly Tweets to them. We had a little bit of a back and forth but eventually they played it at a game and now I am a huge Everton fan. A good relationship often starts off on a rocky road and now we are tight."

His in-ring debut at WrestleMania 29: "To debut at the biggest stage of the year was a big task. You are very nervous leading up to the big show and about walking out in front of 85,000 people, but when you do you can just feel the audience and it was just electric. WrestleMania is the biggest spectacle of the year and you are going to be entertained."

Inspirations for his character: "I grew up as a huge WWE fan watching guys like Shawn Michaels, Ricky Steamboat, and "Ravishing" Rick Rude. I loved the flamboyant, pretty boys and the guys who got the girls and money. That inspired me and right after I got into wrestling I went to ballroom-dancing school. It was a big part of my training and got incorporated into my character."
