WWE SmackDown Results

Commentators: Michael Cole and Tazz
We open with clips form the Royal Rumble, Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry then Undertaker coming down to the ring and “collapsing” the ring and unofficially challenging Angle for the title, surprisingly no clips of the actual Rumble which was won by Smackdown’s Rey Mysterio.
The usual opening plays and we are off. Tonight Booker T will defend the United states title against Chris Benoit.
Theodore Long comes down to the ring and does a dance for a few seconds then he talks about all the surprises at the Royal Rumble, referring to Undertaker coming down after the main event and the challenge is official, Undertaker will face Kurt Angle at No Way Out, he then announces the winner of the 2006 Royal Rumble The ultimate Under-Dog Rey Mysterio who comes to the ring in a low rider.
Rey comes out and simply, thanks Eddie Guerrero, he talks about Eddie living in his heart, and that he is making Eddie proud, he says he is going to win the World Heavyweight Championship, he talks about Eddie pulling a fast one making Rey number 2 at the Rumble, Orton’s music hits and he strolls down to the ring.
Randy tells Rey that Eddie was laughing his ass off not with Rey but at Rey, he says everyone knows that Rey doesn’t deserve to be going to Wrestlemania and that the does, Rey asks him why Orton is so special, and Orton cuts him off, saying to shut his mouth, Orton says there had to be divine intervention for Rey to win, Rey mentions how he eliminated Orton to win, Orton says in a real wrestling match Orton would destroy Rey, and challenges Rey to a match at No Way Out, for the main event spot at Wrestlemania, Rey stutters and Orton yells at him to stop hesitating.
Randy tells Rey he should stop looking up for Eddie, because Eddie ain’t in heaven Eddie’s down in hell.
The two brawl with Rey getting the upper hand quickly, they roll around the ring exchanging rights, officials come out and break it up, Orton escapes out of the ring, and Rey is restrained by about a half dozen referees.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Mexicools vs. MNM w/ Melina
Nitro attacks Psicosis right from the get go and takes him down with a shoulder block, a monkey flip by Psicosis, and he’s in control, Nitro goes for one but gets a boot in the face, Crazy in and the double team on Nitro he takes a moonsault and leg drop simultaneously, Mercury trips up Nitro and drags him out to save him from a beating, Psicosis with a springboard moonsault taking down both men, Crazy going for a move Cordaris stops him, and goes to check on the men on the outside, Crazy using Cordaris as a springboard taking down MNM again.

Mercury whipped into the corner, Nitro runs down the apron and pulls him out of the way, Psicosis crashes into the turnbuckle from a back elbow attempt, Mercury with a suplex on Psicosis, MNM double back elbow on Psicosis, Melina with a leg scissors on Psicosis as MNM distract the ref, backbreaker on Psicosis, rammed into the boot of Nitro and he is tagged in, forearms to the back of Psicosis, driving the knee into the back of Psicosis, applying pressure, Nitro drives Psicosis into the corner, cutting the ring in half, Psicosis battles towards the tag but Nitro out muscles him and cuts him off, Melina on the apron distracting the ref, Psicosis sends Mercury crashing into Melina, she falls and twists her ankle, Nitro tending to her, Crazy tagged in, missile dropkick, dropkick to Nitro who was heading into the ring, Crazy catches Mercury in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker followed by a moonsault, tornado DDT, Nitro breaks up the count at the last second, Psicosis in to take care of Nitro, Melina from behind hits Crazy with her boot.

Backstage with Booker talking to Sharmell about the Doctor’s, Teddy Long comes in and says what’s the deal, Booker is saying he aggravated his groin in the Royal Rumble match and they have a Doctor’s note saying he can’t compete, Teddy says he believes him and he can pick a substitute tonight, to face Booker T, Long says however if the substitute looses then you will loose the United States title.

JBL is in the ring, saying how he doesn’t belong in the ring with someone like the Boogeyman, because he is in the same line as Thesz, Brisco…Jack and Mil Mascaras, and he deserves to be in a wrestling ring, not in cage matches against freaks and side shows and practically everything else under the sun, who are only here to get a rub of JBL, because the WWE knows JBL can make anybody a star, he says he isn’t wrestling anymore freaks, he says he if he was in the ring with a broomstick you better get a pine box because nobody follows the “Killa”.
Lashley’s music hits and lumbers down
Bobby Lashley vs. Chad Dick
JBL stays at ringside, James Dick also at ringside, Chad jumps Lashley who is focusing on JBL, Lashley knocked to the corner a belly-to-back release by Lashley, James in and gets back body dropped, Lashley with a Guerilla Press n Chad, and whips him into the corner, dominator.

After the bell JBL form behind with the Clothesline form Hell, JBL trash talks Lashley and leaves as James scrapes Chad of the mat.
A Junior is trying to get a drink from a fountain another comes and gives him a boost.

Undertaker makes his way to the ring after a lengthy entrance he gets on the mic and says that the time for Kurt Angle is drawing near, and there is no way out, he says Angle currently possesses the one thing that he (the Undertaker) desires, the World Title.
Angle’s music hits and makes his way down to confront the deadman, Angle says he wants to make one thing clear, that he has proven to be the best in the world, despite undertaker being intimidating and a phenom who scares, people he is a wrestling machine who makes people tap.
He says they have one thing in common one the bell rings he doesn’t have a soul either, and at NOW he isn’t going to rest in piece he is going to break his ankle in pieces.
Taker says there is a reality that even angle can’t escape he says Angle will Rest In Piece, thunder is heard, the gong of the bell, and the lights go out, for just a second, the blue smokey lights come on and Angle is all alone in the ring, Undertaker vanished.

Octagon Seto (sp?) vs. Tzuki
Seto with clubbing blows, Tzuki with a drop kick to the knee sends Seto outside, helo to the outside by Tzuki, back in the ring, drop toe hold by Seto, and a dropkick of his own, Guerilla Press by Seto, slam by Seto and up to the second rope an elbow drop, dropkick by Tzuki and an armdrag, a head scissors takedown, sunset flip by Tzuki, Seto uses the ref to stop himself from falling, Tzuki back dropped but he lands on the top rope, cross body, armdrag, crucifix pin.
WINNER VIA PINFALL: Tzuki
Benoit out back doing squats, when Mr. Kennedy comes in to shot, he talks about Benoit’s monikers, and asks him what’s up, the talks about Benoit getting a serious of tough breaks, loosing the best of seven against Booker T and Booker wasn’t even in the match, about loosing the rumble and not going to get a title match at Wrestlemania, and now Booker is still injured and the replacement is the toughest break of all.
Benoit asks if he is done yet and he doesn’t care who the replacement is he tells Kennedy to never get this close to him again or the only tough break will be Kennedy’s arm, Benoit slaps him in the arm and Kennedy grabs it as if he’s been shot.

Booker T comes out to do commentary.
Collar and elbow tie up, both men struggling to get the upper hand, Finlay forces Benoit to a corner, back to the middle of a ring, reverse waist lock by Finlay, Finlay takes down Benoit, Benoit comes out firing with chops, Finlay with a single leg take down, Benoit returns the favor, stiff kick to the ribs by Finlay, now to the sternum, Finlay with an armbar, grounding Benoit, Benoit using his free arm to punch his way out, forearms in the corner to the jaw of Finlay and some chops.
Finlay battles out, Finlay with a stomp to the groin, Finlay drags the head of Benoit across the ring apron, Finlay on the floor delivering elbows to the back of the neck, back in the ring, Benoit chopping his way out again, Finlay rammed into the turnbuckle head first, European uppercut by Finlay, elbow drop, rear chin lock, Benoit to his feet, German suplex, a second and third, Booker T distracting Benoit, Finlay from behind, a clothesline Finlay caught in the crossface, Finlay fighting Booker into the ring, Sharmell on the other side Sharmell whacks Benoit with the crutch, but Finlay from behind, with the crutch a vicious shot to the ribs, Booker laying the boots to Benoit.

Backstage Krystal Marshall with Mark Henry and Daivari, she says that he lost to Kurt Angle, Daivari cut sin and says that Angle didn’t defeat Henry a steel chair did, a ring post did, he takes the mic and kicks Krystal away, he says tonight Mark Henry is tagging with randy Orton to take on Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio.

Booker T and Sharmell laughing with Finlay over the beating on Benoit they leave Finlay alone and go into Booker’s locker room, the Boogeyman appears behind Sharmell and Booker and says he’s coming to get them, he eats a bunch of worms.
Josh Matthews, introduces Gregory Helms who won the Cruiserweight championship at the Royal Rumble, Josh asks how he is going to represent the division, Helms says that he is the division and is the best champion since he was last time, he says he is the greatest Cruiserweight alive today, Nunzio comes in and says he’s got a little advise, he says if someone like Helms would come into his town and talk like Helms is talking he would get his leg broke, Helms said no one is man enough to do it, Nunzio asks for a title shot next week, he teaches Helms how to say "For-get-about-it."
Teddy Long with Palmer Cannon in his locker room, Regal and Birchill are in there arguing, Cannon says he speaks the language, apparently Regal and Birchill went to the network to get the team split up, they talk about regal ancestry dating back through English history, and Birchill’s dates back to, pirates. Birchill makes up a family tree off the top of his head saying that Blackbeard was his ancestor, then he leaves, Regal says at least he didn’t come from a long line of proctologists.

Angle and Orton start off, Orton asks fro Rey, Angle obliges, giving Rey the tag, Mysterio ducks a clothesline and throws rights and left to the mid section of Orton, Orton pulls Rey into the corner, Rey whipped off the ropes, hangs on, Rey with head scissors sending Orton over the top rope Rey with a senton over the top, Rey going up top, Orton in the ring, and rings Rey up leaving him hanging on the top turnbuckle, Henry tagged in Henry with Rey in a precarious position, Henry booting Rey, Henry choking Rey, dragging him to a corner, a headbutt, tag to Orton.
Orton with a huge knee drop to the chest, reverse chi lock applied, forearm shots, Henry back in, arm wringer, he drapes Rey across the top rope, and chokes him, standing on the throat of Mysterio, Orton in and Rey fighting back with mid section shots Randy with a dropkick, Rey down, Orton runs into a ring post in an attempt to hit Rey, Rey struggling but going for the tag, he tags Angle, Angle and Henry both in, Henry whips Angle into a corner, Angle avoids and avalanche and into the ankle lock.
Henry powers out, angle slam by Angle, back to the anklelock, Angle sees him drop toe hold, anklelock on Orton, low blow by Henry as Daivari distracts the ref, Orton dragging Angle by the leg to the middle of the ring, Orton with a knee drop to the face, now a knee being driven into the face of Angle, Angle catches a knee to the mid section stopping momentum again.
Tazz references Henry and Orton to the legendary Hart Foundation with Anvil and Henry being a tank and Bret and Orton being the workhorses.
Angle sent to the outside Rey down to check on his partner, Henry on his way out too, Angle sent into the steel steps, Henry slides him back into the ring, Orton tagged back in, Angle with an uppercut, Orton and Angle trade a few uppercuts, Orton goes for the eyes, and into a headlock, Angle standing switch into a German suplex, both men down, Rey in.
Senton on Orton, Rey ducks a clothesline, and hits a bulldog, from the inverted powerbomb counter, Rey on the shoulders of Orton he slinks of trips Orton, 619, cut of by Henry, Angle takes Henry out of the ring and Angle follows, Henry rammed into the post, Daivari gets involved Kurt on the chase, through the crowd, Henry lumbering behind, Rey and Orton left all alone.
