WWE Tryouts Update, WWE Not Taking Talents Over 30?, Bad News Barrett And Others Talk World Cup

June 18, 2014

- WWE is apparently looking for talents that are younger than 31. Former Olympic wrestler Jeff Cobb, who is 31 and moved to Sacramento train under Oliver John, got word from WWE that his age may be an issue.

- WWE had 30 men and women at their most recent tryout camp at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Not many details have come out about the camp so there likely weren't many well-known indie wrestlers there.

They had plenty of young talent that they decided to f*** over and not give a legitimate chance to do well. They still have some, but I don't see any of them being pushed unless the WWE literally has no other options available. As long as guys like Orton and Cena are around the young guys will always be held down. Sad to see guys that could have a lot of potential like Luke Harper being the ages they are. Cena has been around for ten years and these guys are similar in age despite just arriving on the scene in the past year or two. WWE has screwed themselves over, and it amazes me that they are just now getting the idea that pushing for younger stars is the way to go.
