Bobby Lashley won the TNA World Title from Young on Thursday's Impact episode taped earlier in the night from Bethlehem, Pa.
It was Young's second title defense of the night following a defense against Kenny King in the opening match of the show.
After Lashley beat Young for the title, Bobby Roode returned to TV to make the save on a post-match beat down.
