WWE issued a press advisory to the Japanese media inviting them to witness "the birth of a new Japanese WWE Superstar" on 7/12 in Osaka, Japan. WWE has a live event there the same day at the Maishima Arena.

The press materials featured Hulk Hogan, so it appears Hogan will be used to unveil the new talent, who of course is KENTA, formerly of Pro Wrestling NOAH, possibly using a new ring name.

KENTA, then with NOAH, was at the WWE Performance Center training for a week. Upon returning to Japan, KENTA claimed he went to immerse himself in their training but admitted it's been his dream to go to WWE. Several months later, he announced his exit from NOAH, the promotion he had been with since it was first formed a decade ago.
